Any battle in which you win honour. So, any time you fight a battle against a player with high honour it will be an honourable battle and you will win glory.

Two players with 0 honor can also win honor, and is not necessary that a player needs to fight against one with high/higher honor to earn some honor, a honorable battle is a battle in which you earn 1 honor point or more, the amount earned (if you can earn any) depends of the level and honor of both players involved.

question...'how does one open and close gates'...i understand if you leave gates open then you wont loose buildings if attacked...as a new player and about to come out of first weeks protection i feel that this would be the best action to take untill i get stronger.

I actually wouldn't reccomend it, because first of all, it will cost you 450-700 rubies, and just coming out of beginners protection, you probably won't be attacked too much.

i am not sure about that. for me it just saves as I build things, then log out.

You don't have to save, the game keeps track of your progress automatically. I suspect that the problem is you're starting a new account every time you come back instead of logging into your old account. When you get to the main GoodGame Empire page, click on "Log-in" in the upper right corner of the screen. If that's not the problem, how long are you staying away before you try to log in? Your castle will go to ruins if you don't log in for the same number of days as your level plus one (example: a level 20 will go to ruins in 21 days if they do not log in during that time), and the account will be deleted shortly afterwards.

hi im Charlotte Bennett i would like to know how you get a Esponage when ever i try to click on it, it always says you dont have any agents yet..... i dont know what it means! it is my 2 day playing it and i dont know how to get agents or what they are please help me

You must first build a tavern which I believe is in the millitary buildings section of the consutrction menu. After you have built a tavern, you need sword brothers in order for you to have the maximum number of spies available (however, with a coming update, the sword brother function will soon be discarded, but not yet).

You can start building an outpost after you unlock the estate, and after you have certain level you can go to other
kingdoms

Level 13 (Estate level 1)
Level 19 (Estate level 2)
Level 25 (Everwinter glacier)
Level 28-31 (Estate level 3)

Level 50 (Fire peaks)
