Go to castle: click military then produce tools. Click them, press the tick.

If I have the coordinates of somewhere on the map, how do I go to those coordinates? is there a "go to xxxxxx" command somewhere?

On the "world map," like where you search for players, there are two little boxes at the top center of the screen, for the X and Y coordinates. You enter the numbers, then click the little green circle just to the right, as you would click on the telescope if searching for a player.

Yes, click on your castle, then click on the information tab the "i" next to the chat tab. Your coordinates should be there.

What is the best way to find opponents to gain honor/glory points? I use the "Seek enemies for honor" button but it just cycles through the same 10, most of which are close outposts with strong alliances. Probably not a good option to attack. I just hunt and peck around the map but can't figure out why some show no honor available while others show possible honor points even if I'm checking at only castles at a higher level than myself.

You can use the honor list to find people with honor close your honor and that are close to you in distance.

I'm fairly new and have a few basic questions:
1. How do you get glory points?
2. How do you perform a sabotage?
3. I think I created something with my smithy but then what do I do with it?
4. How in the world do I use someone else's smithy?
That's good for a start. I'm sure I'll have lots more as I progress...

1) you get glory by attacking people or defending. It doesn't matter if you win or lose.
2) You perform a sabotage by clicking on the castle you want to sabotage and click on the head with hood it says "espionage". On the left there are 3 tabs. Click on the second one. It should say sabotage. Now just select how many spies and how much damage you want.
3)You can either equip it or just store it.
4) If you mean the alliance smithy, then just go to the last tab on the alliance page and click on the button. You can only use your smithy and alliance smithy. You can't use other people's smithy.
