I have two questions.
So, if I decide to upgrade one of my dwellings, and let's say I have a quest for upgrading eight level 8 dwellings. So, if I upgrade one then I demolish the level 8 dwelling, would the quest progress sheet show figure A or B?

Figure B
Upgrade Dwellings to level 8............................................1/8
Also, could anyone describe the defense set-up of a resource village?

I think it would be B.
The set up is about 150 citizens, spread out over the three flanks, I think it is 25-50-25 with 50 in the keep, not sure though.

I'm a level 12, was wondering how can I get more Belfry? Is it something you can build at a later lvl? I only have a couple left and wanted to make more but I don't see an option to do so. Everything I have for military is a lvl 1 since I'm not high enough to upgrade.

The only way to get belfries is in special events, you can not build them. You can get them by buying a special offer box, completing the traveling knight event and buying them from the armorer.

Upgrade the farms with 100% occupancy rate and get that public order up, You can also loot food from other players. If you set the loot focus on food then it will loot only food. If you have barbarians then send those on the last wave of attack so they survive and get you loot, marauders work even better if you have them.

First day newbie cannot figure out:
If I hired a mercenary can I dismiss them?
How do I get defenders on to the wall?

On the lower right hand toolbar, click on the Construction tab and then click on the Castle Wall symbol - Battlements. Upgrading your castle walls uses stone and wood.

How do I get defenders on to the wall?
Once a mercenary is hired they can't be dismissed.
You need to build/upgrade towers on your castle walls for your defenders.
