RV spawns are random as far as player knowledge but are related to the number of new players entering the world in question.
What is that capture attack and how can I use it?

the capture attack is a way to occupy an outpost , either aganist players (lvl 13 or up) or outposts (lvl 5).
to launch a capture attack, you need to be lvl 13, have an estate built (13 hrs)(the estate lvl dertimenes how many outposts you have (1-lvl 13, 2-lvl 19 3-lvl 31)) and you have to wait a few hours for it to reach the target. after lvl 19 you do the same but upgrade. so at lvl 31.
hint: spy first, youll be surpised

How do I resign from an alliance and join a new one?
Click on the "alliance" button in the bottom right corner of the game screen, select the "management" tab, and there will be a "leave alliance" option.

what do you guys mean? when do rvs pop up in sands and peaks?
new rv pop up in everwinter glacier, burning sand or fire peak , there are two guildines to follow
(A) population amount, we do not know this figures
e.g. GGS set 100, 105, 120... (actual figures do not know )
when the population at that kingdom reach 100, a new set of new rv pop up
when the population at that kingdom reach 105, another set of new rv pop up
when the population at that kingdom reach 120, another set of new rv pop up
...etc
each set of new rv (resource villages) are 5 wood rv, 5 stone rv and 11 food rv
The problem are each player can hold
5 wood rv , 5 stone rv and 5 food rv in ever winter glacier
10 wood rv, 10 stone rv and 10 food rv in buening sand and fire peak
u will notice that , some player will not have rv because it is insufficient to share
In everwinter, wood and stone are pearl and sometimes, there is un-claimed food rv hanging for long time
and the situation is worst in burning sand and fire peak, becos it is "much more insufficient"
(B) location of new rv
the location looks random, but not really random
taking the above samples
when a new player land, the population reach 100
a new set of rv is pop up and
the location are around or close to that player who tackle new set of rv
if u a that lucky player, sensitive enough, get tons of resource and with a lot of ruby
be smart
ruby resource and ruby structure, get your loot warehouse ready, then
ruby army there to cap new rv as u a the closer 1 to those new rv
< if u get premimum, u can send un-limited armies, u can send 20 armies (5 to cap to 5 wood, 5 to cap 5 stone and 10 to cap 10 food { rule allow to cap 10 food rv only, 1 food rv unclaimed} ), it is real becos i cap 20 rv in fire peak like that >

Couple of questions - and I didn't scroll through it all to see if they had been answered but it shouldn't take up much of your time. I've just started and was wondering:
Firstly bakeries - does having more than one bakery have any additional effect?
Secondly - what kinda numbers of stone quarries, woodcutters and farmhouses should we optimally be looking at?
Thirdly - I know that PO is the key to success but I have quite a few dwellings also - do I compromise on money coming in from taxation for this purpose? I'm starting to think I could get by without taxation with money gained from RBCs and completing quests but you never know - I've just started so some insight would be appreciated. Also if any friendly alliance on EN1 is recruiting and would like to support and be supported hit me up
Thanks.

To answer your first question. You can only have one bakery, but it can be upgraded to level four. But upgrading your bakery would cost more rubies, than buying the bakery itself.
Answer to your second question. I would have seven wood cutters and seven stone quarries and seven farmhouses. But you could have more if you wanted. I have seven of everything except wood cutters, I only have six of those.
To answer your third question. Many people now say, it's either PO Or money from taxes, but you could actually do both build a lot of Decorative items and build a lot of dwellings, there is nothing complex about that.
And If you are looking for an alliance I have two alliances I might get you into to. There is DoOrDie and Rising Inferno. Check out those alliances, I use to be in them
If you have any other questions contact me

Regrading the amount of farmhouse, woodcutter and stonequerries
taking example of a 8food outpost
8food mean it can allow u to build 8 farmhouse with 100% proudction
the 9th farmhouse is 75% of the 8th framhouse, that is 100X75%=75% production
the 10th farmhouse is 75% of the 9th farmhouse, that is 75%X75%=56.25% production
every extra farmhouse is 75% of the precending farmhouse
so u can have 8 farmhouse
anymore ?
yes, u can have more , but each extra farmhouse is just 75% of the precending 1
then how many ?
7 (13.34% production) -9 ( 7.50% production) farmhouse
it is up to u to select 7 or 8 or 9 extra farmhouse
then what ?
now, it become a mathematic equation---- usage of area
any extra farmhouse will add a small production only and it is 75% of the precending 1
If u use that area to build decoration, that is difference
each decoration will increase production
and decoration do not increase 1 farmhouse production, it increase 8 + ( 7 to 9 ) farmhouse together
Moreover, decoration also increase wood and stone production too !
and it also reduce recruit time, tool produce time
I hope the above can illustrate the situation to u
if u a ruby player, build festival square, otherwise, build parks
Regarding your 3rd question
PO is actually the issue i just address about decoration
I take your 3rd question are coins ( as u mention taxation )
the major ( above 95% ) income of coins are come from rbc, tower and fortress
i just get 30k coins from tower in fire-peak, 30k coins, how hard can u collect from taxation
if u want to know some tricks to farm rbc/tower/fortress, check this
http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/empire/showthread.php?51114-Advices-to-farm-rbc-tower-fortress-inactive-player
just keep a few dwelling is ok (some player delete all their dwelling ). But i prefer to keep a few.
In case u completely run out of coins, u still has 1 source of income to get coins to send your farmer out to farm rbc/tower/fortress
< u cannot farm coins from players >

Yes that has answered most of my question, but what about the issue about the bakery? Does anyone know?
I need a few more levels before I can use an outpost, I was thinking about this for my main castle. Remembr I've only just started. But useful information all the same.

Put the bakery in your main castle, so you could have more defenders there. Because if you get attatcked at your main castle, it will take A LOT OF Time, trust me. I have been attacked there and it slowed down my leveling up
PS Are you a ruby buyer? Or a non ruby buyer?

My question about the bakeries was - if I have 4 bakeries, will the reduction in food cost be greater than just having one bakery? No one has answered that one yet

EdkaDee, You can only have one Bakery per castle! So the answer to your question is no.

Oops! Did NOT notice that. Thanks a bunch
I'm guessing any building that does not have an accumulative effect is limited to only one per castle

My question about the bakeries was - if I have 4 bakeries, will the reduction in food cost be greater than just having one bakery? No one has answered that one yet
Each castle and outpost , player can only allow 1 bakery
food consumption by soldier will reduce
10% in level 1 of bakery
20% in level 2 of bakery
30% in level 3 of bakery
40% in level 4 of bakery (max level of bakery)
This is a war game, u need soldier to attack and defense
u do not need 4 bakery to reduce food consumption to 0
just 1 bakery at level 10 ( if it exists) is sufficient
As i say, it is a war game
u need food to feed your soldiers, your food production, consumption and amount of additonal food u "loot" from rbc/tower/fortress/player determine the amount of soldier u can have
when u grow biger and biger, stronger and stronger
u need to find food and balance your soldier amount with food
then
u have to find target
to hit and "loot" their food to feed your army or
dispose your excess soldier in order to reduce food consumption
if everything is self-contained
u should not come play to play war game, u should go to play building game
As i tell some 1 b4
to start a war with other, u do not justify a reason in order to hit
no matter your attack is with very un-accpetable reason
u have to hit, becos u play a war game , u want to hit some 1
One of the priminary reason is "I need food to feed my army"
That is all war game design-- to get something u need from other player
In this war game, u can get from player is honor, glory, wood, stone and food
many player do not require wood and stone, while glory and honor is meaningless for some player
but most player require food to feed their army if their army size is big
food is the only drive motative to hit other player
if food consumption can be reduced further, this war game is no longer a war game, it become a building game
war is not necessary as everything is self-sufficient

At the top center of my map there are two input fields: player name and x/y coordinates. Can you explain the coordinates? Is my castle at 0/0 or something other? How do I use that?

All you have to do to know your coordinates, is to click your castle and then in the left bottom corner it will show your coordinates...Hope this helps!
