How can I update the wall in my outpost?
My tower is only at lv1 and it says:
"You need to update the wall first (before I can update towers)" but I don't have a clue how to do this. ?(

f i move my castle will i have to start over or does it take a bunch of time or what? and how do i take over an outpost? it says something about castellan or whatever?

Everything stays as it is after you move. The move takes 24 hours. Go to construction menu, click on battlements and upgrade there.

and also can you destroy someones castle by attacking them? if so how many times do you have to attack them?

You can NOT destroy a castle by attacking. This only happens if a player is inactive, and does not sign on for [their level + 1] days.

I've not seen an IRC channel.
However, there's an xat chat: http://xat.com/GGEmpire which is advertised somewhere in the forums as being an unofficial chat. I've never seen anyone in it though.

what is the best way to boost production and does it matter if your castle is a square or if it is odd shaped
The best way to increase production is increase your Public Order and building and upgrading buildings that increase the production of that particular resource.
Let's say you need food, then upgrade a flour mill and increase the public order building decorations or upgrading defensive towers, the keep or the gate.
You can also hire an overseer for more resources.
It doesn't affect anything if the castle is a square or odd shaped.

You can build/capture an outpost after you have unlocked an estate at level 13, you will find it in the construction menu, you can build more of them after you upgrade the estate in later levels.

I'm confused with equipment, commander, and castellans items, when I attempt to apply them in my smithy etc, are the castellan items used in regards to your castle, ie protection and the commander is for your attack troops Not defensive? how about when I send support troops can I choose a different commander and will all those bonuses affect the overall outcome?
