You can exchange it for GOLD and other usefull stuff in the town next to your Castle.
11.000 Charcoal => 5000 GOLD for example

How can I ensure a more successful espionage? Which setting should I use and is the more the better when it comes to how many spies i send out? Also do the spies attack the village they go to check out?

no u should wait till ur lvl 40. unless u r a ruby buyer. u need a good flow of resources and coins

no 1 knows. they sell for only 1 hr cuz gg wont lose so much money than if it was for 24 hrs.

horrible idea. it would make it nearly impossible 2 win an atk. defenders already get a great advantage. they get an unlimited amount of troops at a place, better tools and they can change the formation of their troops. atkers can only send a max of 1040 troops, have weak tools and they cannot change the formation of their troops.

send more spies. if u have the risk over 20% set it until it is 20% or less. and the spies do not atk the village. only troops do.

You build more farms, decos, or kill your troops. If the food expires in anything more then 10 days, I doubt you have much to worry about.

You send more spies out at one time. Click the + spies button before you sent an espionage out. But other then that, espionages are made to be risky.

so does having more loot bags and loot cart really get you more resources
like using 50 loot bags compared to 10 loot bags or is 1 enough

Honor determines individual player ranking and alliance ranking. Attacking, or being attacked by, an opponent of a higher level (achieved by obtaining XP experience points primarily through completing certain quests, etc) than your level and with higher Honor points than yours gives you more Honor points, attacking a lower level player yields lower Honor awards, attacking a player that is 10 or more levels lower will cause a loss of Honor (negative Honor points). For this reason, high level players do not usually attack low level players as they will lose Honor even though they win the battle (small nuisance players can be repeatedly sabotaged to avoid Honor loss). Essentially, it is Honorable to attack a larger opponent but not to attack a smaller/weaker opponent. Losing a battle results in a loss of Honor; the weaker the person lost to (compared to your own level), the more Honor that is lost.
Glory determines the players title (Knight, Chevalier, Baron, … the Terrible) and the level of the alliance. Glory is awarded based on the size of the battle; the more defending units, the greater the battle, the greater the Glory. Glory is awarded regardless of whether the battle is won or lost. Glory can be increased slightly by attacking troops being equipped with Banner(s). Player Glory is reduced by 2% every day and alliance Glory decreases ½% every day.
