I have a big ammount of gold (about 10k), what should i do with it? Building a big army will consume a lot of food, so i don't know if it is the best option. Any suggestions? I only started out like 2 days ago.
And what about forging old weapons into new ones, any suggestions how and which ones to put together?

make an army. there is almost no other use of coins other than tht. forging weapons? go 2 EQ. click the green arrow on the right side. put 3 ordinaries 2 make 1 ordinary. put 6 ordinaries 2 make a rare, etc

Completely random throw in castellen armour and helmet, commander weapon, all with wall bonuses and get a commander artifact that increases travel speed.

You cannot play in country or some regional servers in any other language besides the "default" one. You can't change the game language to English and play in the Dutch server.

Also, can anyone who has kingsguard soldiers tell me their respective combat powers? I was just wondering how much better kingsguards are than regular units.

knight of the kg: 132 melee atk, 18 melee def, and 5 ranged def
crossbow of the kg: 121 ranged atk, 14 melee def, and 23 ranged def
sentinel of the kg: 14 melee atk, 150 melee def, and 59 ranged def

Build an army. Attack robber barron castles and other castles about the same level as you (player castles) but don't attack too much; otherwise, you'll get what's coming eventually. That way, you get the food in loot to supply your army, and you earn glory points, experience point, honor, weapons, and countless other things. Just don't attack too much-you still need to have an army to defend yourself. For resources, attack mainly robber baron castles. If it's urgent, attack castles; you can earn about 350 resources each if you attack a well-run castle. Just don't forget to keep the economy running in your castle. Out of all your commanders, costumize the weapons they wear during the attack. For robber baron castles, I try to use my weapons to maximize my chances of finding good weapons and looting the castle. My second choice would be making my army move faster. For player's castles, it depends. If the have a lot of tools posted, I try to weaken the wall and gate defenses. Depending on what type of units I use to attack (melee or ranged) I use my commander's weapons to try to give them attack bonuses. (+10% mellee attack, etc) Also, I will occassionally use the technician (I don't remember exactly what it's called) to upgrade my best weapons.

One more thing-don't forget to recruite some defensive soldiers (e.i. Spearmen and Bowmen) to defend your castle from other players looking to get revenge on your attacks. Don't attack too often, and build some defense tools as well to ward off attacks. Don't forget to equip your castellan for defending against attacks. Mostly improve the fighting power of your troops to increase overall protection of your walls, but also increase the resistance of your walls and gate.

does the item effect of ur commander affect the soldiers when they fight in the keep??? like a commander wit 50% melee power affects the melee soldiers in the fight in the keep????

You find it in the King's Market, in the toolbar to the bottom right of the screen. Then, go to the "Other" tab once inside the King's Market. It's in there

yea it does, just like how the castellan affects the bonuses of the troops in the keep

It effects how they fight on both the wall and the keep. Not just in the keep

yea it does, just like how the castellan affects the bonuses of the troops in the keep
surely the commanders effects help armies travelling, attacking supporting etc.
and the castellans effects help your army at the castle
i know i dont make sense but i think i'm right
