Topic: [77710] Alliances too strong

[-77710] Anders Rossnes [None] :: Sept. 29, 2012, 7:11 a.m.
Why have you let alliances get too strong? Because of alliances like nordisk union, nordiska viking and dk-farmer i´m now leaving this game as many more have done recently. What´s the use of playing when alliances like that attack every day with players minimum 10 levels above you, often 2 or 3 players attacking at a time. And in the northern kingdom where alliances have made agreements on not attacking each other and letting no one else have resource villages. This game has become a joke! Understand that you make money on alliances need to get bigger, but in fact by letting them do this you have destroyed the game for everyone who isn´t in such a strong alliance. I know for a fact that many people have left/are going to leave this game because the fun is out of it cause of the big alliances.

If they are so big these alliances, why don´t they attack someone theire own level? I´m level 41 and i´m always attacked by players level 50-60. Why? Are these 50-60 level players really that chicken? And do they have to attack in pairs? Can´t they attack someone without holding hands with theire alliance? And if you don´t lose, ore even worse you attack them back what do they do? They go to the alliance crying and make them attack you a hundred times.

Thanks for letting such players destroy this game, have a good one.

Either join one of the big alliances or join your alliance with others of the same size, form a guild of small alliances and fight back. Show the big guys you've got the power to hit back.

They'll probably end up respecting you for it. Nobody will respect you for complaining about it.

Make an account on International 1 or 2 and then start complaining about alliances being too strong.
You've seen nothing yet, lol.

That's nothing compared to alliances on International 1, STEEL has over 1000 members

Stop lying? Are you stupid? Several players have left and that´s a fact. Prove me wrong if not shut up.

Well I see no point in playing anymore when all the alliances who are big have pacts and only attack smaller alliances with players 10-15 levels below themself. My castles are beeing attacked 1-10 times a day by players 10 levels or more above me. Attack them back and all their alliance attack me. When a player level 60 needs help from his alliance because a player level 41 attacks him back, well I call that chicken.

Everyone like a good challenge every once in a while. Usually you prove yourself well enough and the big alliances are on your porch, knocking on your door, just dieing to have you join their alliance rather than one of their rivals.
Make yourself interesting, and they'll come begging :)

Man up. I get attacked by a level 60 who is in one of the strongest alliances in UK 1 (Team BSK) and has kingsguards everyday. I'm only level 32, my castle is in flames but do you see me moaning, no. It's part of the game.

Yeah, several players leave the game everyday and several join the game everyday - nothing remarkable at all. As far as I see it the person quarrel isn't so much about the comment being false but rather it being a completely ludicrously stupid remark. The onus is on you to prove that a distinct number of people are leaving the game due to this issue, not on us as we have made no such claim. Such a flawed track of thoughts that must of been inherited by some theist family.

Out of curiosity, what do you call a whining attention seeking brat or do you just simply refer to yourself as an example?

I am also level 41, and I am constantly attacked by a few of the stronger alliances on my world. I know they don't compare to the alliances in other worlds, but it is the same concept no matter where you go. It is getting somewhat ridiculous that nearly 9.5/10 RV's are controlled by a small group of large alliances.

And Baldrick, do you see 10 level 25-35's attacking a level 60 going well for them at all? There are many people who do wish to rebel, but no one is going to. I don't complain, I just chug on as I am destined to do. There was one large rebellion in my world, with The Regulators. With them, and about 15 other alliances, including mine, we attacked, sabatoged and demanded treaties. It worked well for the most part, but nothing really changes.

Nothing GGS can do about it, they pay good money for an advantage in the game. And they have it.

I completely agree with what you have said Eric. They paid for it, so they have the right to dominate.

I only agree with the beginning of your statement Baldrick. Because no matter what you do, you cannot take down any dominant alliances with a bunch of smaller alliances. You may have 20 different alliances collaborating, but it only takes 1, or even 2 large alliances to completely destroy all of you.

Because of the large alliances domination, the goal of anyone who wants to competitively play this game is to get into a strong alliance.

In the real world, anyone who stands alone is not going to survive. You have to ally yourselves with the strong if you want to get ahead in this game.

I understand there are exceptions; there are those who put their heads down, push forward, and make it to the top. I applaud them for their bravery, but don't think they got there easy; they have suffered all the way there, and they probably still do.

Anyone who wants to be the Lone Ranger and take on this world by yourself: you are asking to suffer. Don't blame your misfortunes on anyone but yourself.

Join an alliance for the strength, not because your friends are there. Make decisions that are going to benefit you, without being biased, and you should be on the road to excellence.

I don't want to sound like a bad person, but you need to grow up. Strong players throughtout the game want to be dominant, just like in real life. They want to become the best because that's what the game is all about. BTW, level 60 players are attracted to lower leveled players because they know they aren't as developed (in other words, don't have as much troops), and are also attracted to high honor, knowing that they will win and gain more honor to become a higher rank. This is part of the challenge to the game. If you can't accept that, I don't know why you started playing this game in the first place.

[1395793] Luke Fierysword [None] :: Sept. 29, 2012, 5:28 p.m.
What's the point of getting strong if you don't dominate eh?

I hate when players complain of getting attacked in a war game if you're to weak to stand against them go ahead and join them as a pawn.

I didn't actually mean take them down. I meant show some strength, hit back, probably at one player and show them that you've got balls. Then try to enter into some diplomacy with the big strong alliance or offer them your services as help with other smaller alliances.

Sitting back and moaning about it wont do any good at all.

I also attack so many players to get loot, and because of this so many players next to my castle left the game and I feel so bad that because of me someone leave this game but it is part of the game, I need to have resources to do research.
