Can anyone give me the way to defeat lvl 5-2 with M and/or C? I haven't figured a loss-less way so far and barely have any resources to spend on new soldiers...

On another note, the description for 6-2 is wrong. I just lost 4 crossbowmen in an attack

I found these as the minimum soldiers used with no tools

8-1 first wave - / 24ths / 8hc second wave - / 4ths / - lose 1 hc
9-3 first wave 9hc / - / 9ths second wave - / - / 1ths lose 1 hc
9-2 9ths / 16hc / - lose 1 ths
9-1 6ths / - / 6hc lose 0
10-3 7hc / - / 7hc lose 1 hc
10-2 7hc / - / 7ths lose 1 hc

I am working on more levels. Before posting any more I would like to see some people post some formulas for tools used with no losses. Please don't just copy peoples work, contribute.

Just to point out lvl 5-1 is not 0-5c-0 this does not work with no losses, instead 5m-5m-0 works perfectly

Also just tested, 5-2 can be defeated with 3c-0-3c, or 0-8c-0 for a lossless win

This will save you lots of resources and create a lot of gold cois for you, and win you every RBC battle.

First of all, you have to spy, and write down every level.

Second you have to know which troops to send vs which defenders. (swords vs bows&arrows, crosses vs swords,spears - mostly)

Next, always send 2 waves of troops. The first wave, up to about level 30, you can just put 1 soldier (maceman, no tools) on the flanks, and that takes out all the wall defenses. Then just send flank attacks + the number of ladders that matches the strength of the bare wall... 2, 4, 6, etc... You will win all RBCs quite easily with just 2 flanks of soldiers, and use less troops, and still gather all the loot. You can send a third wave with a few maces to clean up any remaining loot, but the loot is pretty much fixed, so you top out at a certain number depending on the level.

Note, in the ice glaciers they start to stagger the wall tools on 2 waves, so sometimes you have to send two waves of "mace martyrs".

So here are my notes on RBCs so far, its a little all over the place. The only keep that really causes an issue is 6.1 which cannot be beaten with low level troops without a loss


Level 1 0-2m-0 also 0-2c-0 keep layout is 0-1-0 90 loot max gained 89
Level 2 0-5m-0 lowest is 1-1-1 layout 1-1-1 with 1 c loot 95 max gained 94
Level 3 3m-0-3m also 0-6m-0 layoyt is 0-6-0 loot 105 max gained 101
Level 4 4m-0-4m loot 115 layout 3-4-3
Level 5.2 5m-5m-0 0-0-5z 3z-3z-0 could try 4-5-0 or perhaps 4-4-0 due to reduced defences layoyt is 0-0-10 loot 130 max gained 130
Level 5.1 0-5c-0, 0-6c+-0 is better for max loot layout 0-2-0 with stone throwing loot 130 max gained 130 less than 8c will loose loot
Level 6.2 2c-0-2c layout 1-1-1 with 1 in courtyard loot 150 sending mace with 1c up the middle will losse a mace
Level 6.1 5x-0-5x 150loot layout 4-0-4 1ac-1spear-2mace-stone throwing on both flanks, front empty, courtyard 1ac

M=mace C=crossbow Z=THS X=Heavy cross L=Ladder St=Stonethrowing Cg=Castle gate,

Loot indicates the highest loot i have obtained from that lvl RBC (sum of Wood, Stone and Food) thus while sometimes you can get away with less troops, you may want to attack with more to get full value.

I am very confused. I sent 15 two handed swordsmen to a RBC which I had spied on with 100% accuracy: 24 bowmen of one flank, 24 Spearmen on another, none in the middle, and one Spearman and one Bowman in the courtyard. I sent 15 down the front, and all of my soldiers were defeated at the courtyard. 15 two handed swordsmen defeated by one Spear and one Bow. Even taking into account the 30% reduction, this can't be right - would someone please explain this to me.

The defenders on the wall are defending on the courtyard as well, or do you think they will stand and watch while u kill the 2 soldiers in the keep than going away with the loot lol
