Because some people try to get around the bad language filter by adding extra dots.

i get around using bad language when talking to my friends, we just...nope not gunna say or they will make the language filter filter that out.

if you include 3 points in a row (...) in a message the filter kicks in and disallows you to send it. This happened to me.

Now they have applied language filter in the alliance description

is being blocked. I have made a forum page and have hidden it behind a co.cc address, which also doubles as a short form of the address. There is a limited space in the alliance description and I can't possibly erase all the valuable info just to have the full addy on...cc

attention watch your language, well this is becoming a real pain. write a long important mail and its impossible to send.
why i dont know, i dont use foul language!

when you start a new sentence start it in a new line.
eg:"hi
how are you
want to join my alliance" if u do it like this then u wont have the problem

it has happened to me plenty of times and gets really annoying. i go back over it and if you have 3 periods in-between words it sometimes doesn't send.

there's nothing bad language in the message you wrote
as mentioned, the dark shaded part is covering some private website
the thing is that the system does not allow you to write .com in the message,
so try sending the same message with different formats of .com
like dot com, . com or simply www.domainname com

Seems to have a really odd idea of what bad language is... I got prevented from sending a message and it took me a really long time to figure out that it didn't like the word "idiot" replaced it with dimwit which is fine and yet somehow I think more offensive... Actually I'm going to find out what other innocuous words it doesn't like.

actually it even finds "words" in other words like
massage is apparently ass for GGE
or ( dutch language ) waarschijnlijk ( probably ) becomes aars ( ass ) which is actually the less foul word for it and even used by doctors
and many other every day words are foul language apparently which makes it very difficult to actually write a message that doesn't come off as you being a very "dirty" person

It would also appear that the words Honor. Loyalty and Respect are also considered foul language.

what i'm describing is the pop us says "you can not use bad language" or 'you are not allowed to use bad words" something like that. thats all it says with no (enter text here) or ().
you have no idea what if offensive so you can fix it. In a long message, this is an impossible task. why is there no hint showing what tripped the filter?

the problem with ... is that you do not put enough dots. if you put "hello.........how are you?" it works just add more dots i just tried it to prove it and it worked

So I know there was a thread on this,but I couldn;t find it when I searched so I'm starting a new one.
I was writing this very long and detailed letter to my friend about GGE.I did not use any foul lenguage or swearing.When I clicked the button to send,it said "Please watch your language,iinapropriate language will not be tolerated.()"What is up with that?I re read the whole letter 5 times,and I could not find any inapropriate language!
I got a letter calling me the "b" word and the "a"word.The person also called me a jack*** and a tiny piece of "s" word.Why can't I send letters to people without using bad language but someone can send me a letter calling me all that????
I really hope this bug gets fixed ASAP.
