If this bonus comes back up while I'm not online for people who weren't here for this one to take advantage of and not me I don't think that would be very fair. And the merchant being here is a pretty big deal as well. This needs to be handled in a way that everyone that is active now should have the opportunity to buy the 100%.

Also, this offer was combined with a traveling merchant, we would like to have both at the same time.
That's a very good point. They should make this ruby offer up for a week so we can cover all of the merchants that come through our villages.

I have also been trying to buy rubies and have been unsuccessful for the duration of the bonus. It did not work across any browsers. I can confirm using other tools that the server was indeed taken offline or knocked offline due to bandwidth limitations. Maybe next time stress test the server before giving an offer like that?

If this bonus comes back up while I'm not online for people who weren't here for this one to take advantage of and not me I don't think that would be very fair. Same here, I was on when the notice popped up, tried for the entire 90 minutes with both IE and Firefox...no go, I want my 100%!!!! Look at my history, I buy rubies, I just bought some yesterday, I wanted more.....Give us the 100%

Okay, it's a technical problem but one that could easily have been avoided by stepping the offer one server at a time. It must have been obvious that this offer was going to cause a surge in server traffic.

We understand your frustration and we have been attempting to resolve it. We thank you for your patience and hope that as a result of this glitch another prime time will be put up to offer you the opportunity to buy. It appears that the payment shop may have been inundated with requests.
Thank you so very much for at least informing us what we thought to be true is. To many clicking at the same time. It was a problem that was no fault of us, the players. For this reason, seems only right that the offer be made again with a better server to be able to handle all of us that will want to make such a purchase. Only other option would be to select a certain amount of people at a time to give the offer to.
It is never a good thing for any game to not be able to collect the money from their players. Two reasons. The company will be out the cash from that sale. Many of the paying players, (such as me), will opt to find another similar game, (there are many out there on the wonderful world wide web).
