No, this thread needs an enema. Too many people posting a bunch of completely unrelated nonsense.
Most likely the server handling the sales crashed since there's probably a lot of players trying to buy rubies due to the new capitals, possibly.
I think I counted a total of 3 capital cities being available on our server, and all 3 of them are already occupied or in the process of being taken from another alliance. Got rubies? =(

Do you realize that you locked a thread where many members were petitioning for a 100% bonus voucher?
Why don't you lock this one and let the petition keep on going?
Do you want to silence your customers?
The first time was an inconvenience, now it is just ridiculous.
You already told us that you will think about a compensation for us.
What compensation did we get? Nothing, waited an entire week for a random 75% bonus that does not even work, let alone a 100% bonus.
You did not care that many of us were wasting our time refreshing the store the whole time.
You promised some sort of compensation and we received none.
My entire alliance, comprising of over 40 people (counting sub-alliances), is extremely disgusted with how GGE is handling this situation.
I am sure my alliance are not the only ones.
Many members are starting to feel betrayed and regret voting for you for the game of the year.
Pass that along to your superiors who make the decisions.

Server crash = poor servers and cannot handle additional laod of people buying in at all the same time.
NOTHING TO DO WITH CAPITALS, we had same problem last week (friday) with 100% bonus not working.
They had a week to sort this out but either didn't bother or was ineffective

yes neave , they blocked the last thread we blew up about how bad they were at taking care of this problem. so i have no clue what to do next. i sent complaint. i tried to call, no response . im asking ,, what does anybody think we can do for them to honor a deal for us . ive sent many messsage to them and they send simple responses basicaly telling me they dont care. what do we do ?

Neave - write a formal letter to the directors of GGS, email it to EVERY director, finance, MD HR whoever.
GGE obviously doesn't care about customer retention.
Money talks - let the MDs know what is happening on the shop floor and heads will roll
Communication - next to non-existent
Technical - either nothing was done (nothign was told to us), or what was done was not enough, either way = incompetency

What about the people who want to play the game but can't because of all the people trying to buy rubies, therefore making the servers crash? You all come on and complain that you can't get your rubies but spare a thought for those of us who have been at work all day and would just like to play some GGE. Maybe if people were a little more patient and didn't try to all access the same page at the same time everyone would get their rubies and there wouldn't be any problems.
(Sorry, but I am fed up with seeing 100s of new threads started all the time about the same topic - try adding to the existing ones like the CMs say)

If GGE doesn't care the mother company GGS will do.

I am in the process of writing an open letter that will be sent by mail to every director of GGS.
The parent company is going to replace the entire GGE team if they have to, I have never seen such an incompetent low level of customer service. Literally spitting on their customers.
I will be obtaining support and signatures of many alliances through the Suggestions and Criticisms forum
