It is absolutely impossible to defeat and conquer an enemy capital. I tired. We ran into 5 million defenders. 5,000,000 defenders. What's up, GGE?

Ya, it was insane. I think the 5 million was a glitch because we all hit at the same time, but there were accurate reports of over 100,000 defenders there before we started hitting.

In conclusion though. It is very doubtful that anyone will win a capture on a capital, unless it is empty. The end results, lots of players our thousands of attackers and kamakazi went from 2000+ honor to 3000+ honor.

I think these things are another waste of time and bad idea for the game, but I bet they are great for ruby sales.

But that doesn't mean the alliance who is protecting that capital, is leaving their castles exposed to attacks? I mean 5,000,000 of defenders need some big support from a lot of players

@ jadet... how many total troops can you hold in your castles? And how many can do you think the average person can recruit in a few hours notice? Now multiply that by 49 (their member total). Do you get close to 5 million? My highest count is 700,000. And that is if everybody does everything right in all castles and is online at the same time and has the rubies to transfer.

@QD I got another spy report right after we landed. It said 100,000 troops but after adding the totals (including tools) it only came to 17,794. I know ice food rv's got increased by 40%, but I wasn't aware support troops did too??

Also, not to mention the fact I sent 3 armies and only got reports for 2. Where did the third army go? I guess vs 5 million it doesn't really matter, but I'd like them and their tools back.

This is so true, captured the capital and took me over a day to try and give it to a friend, it was almost absurd, then of course lost all my troops as they returned (but I know I shouldn’t log off when troops are returning so that is entirely my fault)

I also lost a full army parcoria.... just vanished. No report, no glory, no log on the alliance page... nothing. Of course, it was loaded with the expensive armor ruby tools.

If good games doesn't have the server to handle a real attack, maybe they should have made them easier to take ;p

They haven't made it difficult to attack. The alliance who owns it has.

You are all assuming only BB members defended it.
We are a much larger family, and with food production of 7000+ for some single castles, times that by 7 ops/castles per members, then add all our friends, the use of ruby tools,so how many troops do you think we threw at it?
And when your facing down that sort of number of troops you'll only kill 300 defenders for a full 1040 attackers, and thats when you send it with armourer tools. Then the medico revives 75 of the losses too.
Its just like any other castle except the entire allaince and friends will help to defend it.

Friends from other alliances cannot defend the capital, and all attacks were within a window, to say it was anything other than a massive glitch is idiotic

this seems to be an graphical issue that we have forwarded. It seems like they only defended with 53k soldiers.

It has been forwarded and we are going to check it. Thank you for this thread :)

You can pull friends into allaince to send defenders, like TR did to send attackers, and the people in allaince unable to send or offline can be moved out of allaince as a temp measure is what I was meaning.

I can understand graphical issue. But if that were the only issue, then wouldn't an army of 1040 have killed more than 30 troops in the keep?

Edit: If 5.3 million shown was 53 thousand actual, then what would that 900,000 actually be? 9,000? 90,000? By their own account they may have barely reached 70,000 so both 9,000 and 90,000 are insanely inaccurate...

I hope this war turn out to be a epic one and I and everyone knows how well a king could do to move from a place of king to general and to concentrate in the " City of Angels " The capital... I think we own it and we keep it!!
Good luck to my friends who are trying to capture it and who are trying to defend it....

One of my full attacks of full armoror ruby tools killed less then 100 defenders. Same for 90% of our attacks...

It's a game, and we are having fun, but what happend was much more than a graphic error.

The math it self was wrong and many attacks dissapeared in thin air. The game failed to provide a fair fight for both parties and I think the Ranger and Blades got screwed. Regardless of who wins, it's alot of fun to plan and execute these types of wars and when the results are not accurate it makes it seem like alot of time and effort was wasted.

as I stated elsewhere on the forum... GGS needs to allow a Mass Attack....otherwise it's the story of 65 different guys walking into a room one at a time and each one getting beaten to death by the 50 defenders already in the room and only after first guy is dead does the next one come in....

No it's not. The picture posted in this thread is clearly a bug, what you are talking about is a freshly spawned capital which has 680 troops and a captured capital which has already been developed, hence the large amount of defenders.

I would also like to know why so few defenders were killed despite the number of attackers. I'm sure it was defended with ruby tools etc so losses would be low anyway, but surely the attackers could at least have killed most of the soldiers on the walls? Before being absolutely crushed in the keep...

I'd imagine the defenders were the new capitol types and are probably stronger than the veterans. That combined with armourer defense tools and a good setup could easily show those levels of losses.

as would 50 K vs 1 K (x65) even though the attacks occurred at the same time. So the KIA ratio was better than 65 to 1. Insane, and until GGS figures it out Capitals are pretty much unbeatable when held by an alliance that can spare 1K defenders each (not a big deal). DON"T forget Capture attacks go along with these attacks So the defenders have a huge window to defend and prepare.
