Please try returning to main castle or clearing then logging out and back into game and this should resolve it. The issue should be resolved with next weeks update.

had the error code for moving my castle, five times i try to refresh the browser but then someone is in the spot and the first time i did it it said it would reserve the spot for me but didnt, now i have to pay 5,000 rubies to move when i havent moved in the first place, reported the problem aout two weeks ago and got no reply

OK. This is now just getting ridiculous. Now you don't get the error code immediatly. You click away for about ten minutes getting will be available in - . The time has run out and there is no longer a time posted. So u keep clicking and clicking till finally that wonderful error code pops up and then a new player appears. Don't these guys even just do a simple check by just playing their own game? I am using the free move, a player next to me managed to move but am not sure if they used rubies. You guys have had 3 weeks to fix this !!!!

Use Google Chrome? Same problem.
Clear browser cookies , flush DNS , reboot ? Nope.
Reinstall windows, try fire fox, pray to the rain god , buy a new computer , hire Bill Gates, address congress, petition the united nations? Nope.

Click insanely for 20-30 mins until error 6 occurs ? That works but after error code 6 , theres a NEW PLAYER there!!

OK so sorry for double post within 2 days but I think I have a better idea about whats going on now. My last post was made in the early AM hours and I wasnt all there as Ive been at trying to successfully relocate for some time now. Ill copy a post I made on another thread here as it more properly belongs in the tech support forum (IMO).
Im experiencing a boatload of frustration trying to move my own castle by my freinds locations. There are plenty of ruins and Ive so far attempted seven times to move , but every time , its taken eventually by a new player. I think whats happened is that devs havent bothered to give you an actual flag of when the position is available. The time runs down , but the site isnt able to be occupied , as their is either:
1) Lag in updating the state from 'timer out' to 'available to be occupied' status,
or;
2) A bug in displaying that properly to the player trying to move his castle-
It used to be you would get 'error code 6' after clicking the relocate option a bunch of times befor you would see someone else get the location, which on my 2 most recent attempts today didnt occur. I just got the blank timer message (I clik the huntsman , choose the relocate for 0 rubies , navigate by coordinates to the spot I wish to choose that Ive been watching tick down on timer, and clik on it when the timer is out , only to get the same window a person would see if the spot was ready , only theres no time left until its ready so the timer is blank). Sending another notification of 'when its ready' being all you can do there. I click like a monkey deprived in an addiction study on the button to no avail , and then boom theres a new account there. Repeat process till eyes bleed. I see that relocation does work for a SMALL MINORITY of those trying the process so I can only speculate that there may be an exceedingly small window here where you can ACTUALLY successfully relocate between when the timer runs down and before its actually occupied by someone else but only the 3 fates seem to know when that actually is.
From what I can gather , this game should still be in beta but has been rolled out early to earn revenue. As a result , existing bugs and ones with new features have a 'less than polished' interface or execution in some cases.
Ive filed a ticket with support , but they seem to not have the ability to answer the other 3 tickets I have up for missing troops so I guess Ill have to go it alone in the middle of 10 high level players from various enemy alliances because my newb protection is up :P
Not an incredibly positive experience on what should be a great game thus far. To GGE owners: You could have a very satisfying product if you took the time to properly implement it before frustrating your customers. I know others will (so you probably dont care) but theres no way Im buying rubies for this game until I see things worked out.
For this issue , how about when the timer runs down you guys make the window transition to a 'pending' status, and put up a grey 'occupy' button that changes to green and becomes clickable once the location is actually available? How long does it take your tech department to code some text , color and a button? (weeks apparently if you agree at all that the current process is lacking).
Ideally you would be told when EXACTLY the location would be available so we had 1/2 a snowballs chance in heck to even make it before new player occupations.
Help your customers appreciate your product better and your revenue will go up. This is good business. You should want to do good business or you have serious problems there that your upper management should be wanting to focus their attention on.

If the problem is logging out then back in , then the client side isnt updating. Since its going from error code 6 to no error just the timeleft window then ploping a new player there , I think its an issue with the GAME not updating the location as available in all cases , and the interface that places new players may have a greater window of time than the game players to make the move (also bad IMO).
In any case the interface needs to be able to PULL the value from the server in real time , make the button grey out until you get the status back + 1-3 seconds if your worried about spam querries slowing things down. JUST MAKE IT 1/2 WAY ACCURATE SO WE HAVE A DAMN CHANCE. PLEASE.

OK so my 17th relocate attempt was a success! Largely due to advice recieved from another player in game. So heres the trick: use the relocate option in the ECONOMIC OVERVIEW.
When a spot becomes free, mark the time its available. Once it goes to "error code 6" (Havent seen this for a while now) , "-" , or "Waiting to delete" (congratz GGE on posting a value here that we can see which indicates a status even if theres no time on it) , in order to refresh the status of the place you want to pick , you have to go BACK TO YOUR CASTLE, hit the economic overview and go back to the relocate option , and navigate back to the spot your waiting for. It takes about 20 seconds at a time , but if you do this , you will see to within 40 seconds of when its ACTUALLY available for you to pick. Do this for 10-40 minutes (ya thats right till your eyes bleed) and you can get the spot you want.
This gives you 1/2 a snowballs' chance in hell of actually grabbing a spot in a busy area before someone else takes it , or a new player is added in the location.
Worked for me at least :P
(GGE you REALLY need to polish this process a BIT more.. Id suggest a countdown timer on the 'waiting to delete that pulls the actual time to the next deletion sweep here.. but I know you have alot more moles to whack so maybe get back to it when you can)

Good advice Bystander. a weeks worth of frustration fixed by taking your advice and going through the economic overview.
I had the coordinates written down and i got the castle i wanted straight away.

Guys none of u seem to know.On the world map if u click on spots with ruin picture in it u cant move ur main.There are a very few without a ruin picture u should click on those to move main.this is how u move ur amin and follow this.

Nice Super. You just demonstrated you know very little about the issue. Thanks. I too was looking for the change in caslte icon. Problem was:it didnt change for me giving enough time for me to get into the new location before it was taken by a new player!
I didnt want to take a spot 'out of the way' or in a non - busy area. I wanted to join my friends.
My method was the only way to get the map to update so I could actually accomplish this. THIS IS THE BUG SOME PEOPLE HAVE AND SOME DONT.
Im really glad you didnt have the bug and your screen updated properly. Your intuition in noting the change of ruin icon highlights your superior perception skills but perhaps a more detailed read of peoples problems could lead you to guess maybe NOT EVERYONES RUIN ICONS ARE UPDATING.

i know how you feel, i have tried to find a spot by me for a friend and i find a spot that has 35 seconds left, i look 35 seconds later, when it should be open, and it says "time remaining - " there is no time remaining, but it says there is.

Read the post 3 above your post. Instructions for a work around that worked for a few of us are there. So far its worked for everyone though our difficulties arent always the same so it seems to be a solid path (5 people so far reporting success and 0 failures on the first try).

it dosent work beacuse your picking a ruins and if you do it wont work but if you see a empty spot like lets say it looks like a castle its trased click that and there

Again it seems your missing the boat.. the problem is : some people have a bug where this doesnt display for them. I cant understand why your telling people the existing issue is solved with this when its not.
Afterthought: maybe what your not getting is SOME PEOPLE can and are able to move. For SOME PEOPLE the icon updates such that they can get the time they need to pick the spot. For others (like myself) this didnt happen. I only saw the spot with the ruins icon inside the icon, indicating the spot was not - yet - ready even well after time had expired , then someone else had it. This occured even though I was refreshing the screen through the huntsman's shack. I was able to work AROUND THE ISSUE , by using ECONOMIC OVERVIEW. I suggest for those of you that experience this BUG, this might be a possible work around.
For those not perceptive enough to notice icon changes that do get sufficient time , or for those that experience no problem at all, congratulations. Im glad you never have to deal with this level of frustration, or that your issue is easily remedied with additional scrutiny.
I needed to utilize a method to properly update my display. Icon display scrutiny was not a factor in my difficulties.

* I too just refreshed the page, and it allowed me to do it. if you get that error, I'm guessing when you DO get it, is when it has become open. refresh and get ur spot quick you never know how long is gonna take to get another shot at a reallly good spot

my alliance get this error message all the time. It will say waiting to be deleted for a really long time, and then give the error message eventually. When we get the error message, we just exit the 'relocation menu', when you click on it again, it should allow you to move!
