Offline this is a good way to burn. Going 100% melee means the attacker can just send belfs/boulds and walk over your defenses (perhaps with some shield walls thrown in on waves 3 and 4 just in case you're around). Obviously if you're online you can switch up nicely, but this discussion isn't about tailored defenses to specific attacks when the player is online.adamwasmo (US1) said:This is what i have learned from my time playing, even though i haven't been playing all that long, my alliance has helped me with this. Try to do your defense set up 0/0/100 or 100/0/0. It will not only cause the attacks to lose power, but it keeps all your troops in one location and you dont need to think about where they are.

they 100% wipe out the 1 percent flanks then you have 100% v 98% on the one flank

98-1-1 makes you a less desirable target.
People don't like wasting tools.
Especially ruby buyers, which gives you even more of an advantage; it discourages ruby buyers from attacking you.

Though I don't think I'll be hit with a god com at level 35
on another note, I've seen god com, they generally only give 30 second horn if they're also using assassins and demon slayers with minimum 60 speed (meaning no mantlets).

ruby mantlets speed is 45 or 60 i have stopped a god comm because i went 100-0-0 prevent the 30% CY bonus, the 100% flank after 5 waves had 4 troops left if i went 98-1-1 i would lose that flank,

The armorers mantlets (shield walls) which are fastest have 28 speed.
Ruby (iron mantlets) have 22 speed.
Wood mantlets 15.

God com plus ruby horse probably would shorten the warning time to... well, even 2 minutes would be enough to change
defense strategy.

still you will get hit hard we can agree on that, it takes a lot of troops/ good cast/or just being on online( depending on the attack) a full 6 wave super god comm will roll over nearly anything in its way.
