If every member of a maxed alliance used full Storm sets on every com/cast the alliance total would be-
5850000
That is still A LOT of power points, that would be within top 15 on USA1 i believe.
Which is by no means a small amount of Power Points lol.
That is not including any Power Points an alliance would also have from buildings/troops etc. So you would probably easily have 7-10 million power points. which is top like top 3-5 on USA1, 2 alliances at 9.3 and 9.6 million with only KoN main topping 10 million...coming in at a whopping 12 million power points.

It adds up the buildings and troops to give off a general idea of how strong a player is. It isn't perfect, but its by far the most accurate ranking system.don't get how they can base "power" off of that...

I guess... but strength isn't measured by all that. I'm a level 53 and I've outdone level 60's (who are ruby buyers,) in 1 on 1s and RV fights.
but that explains it a little more. guess I'll look for people on the power ranking to see if they have a lot of units.

How did you become Steel-Hearted without buying rubies?
easy, if you know how to pull strings you can get anything done. just message a few large alliances and you can get anything you want if you know the right people. For example, my alliance has a pact with a sub alliance of a large alliance who has a pact with another alliance. carry on up the food chain and you can claim to have pacts with half the server.
plus, not being a ruby buyer, my tactics are deadly. I have strategies and will do anything to defeat anyone I'm at war with.
bribes are a good way of getting other alliances involved too, offering 50k resources would makes anyone jump at the offer.
launching attack round the clock will out do anyone. players who are willing to stay up at midnight so that a few friends can group attack one enemy alliance leader at 2am has always worked so far.
sabotages are never to be forgotten in warfare, nor tool burner attacks.
I'm well respected on my server, an enemy said that he didn't want to go to war with my alliance and said:. "Graycat, everyone looks up to you."

yep, and forgot to add that I ignore fires until after the war, I don't get stressed out about it. and if you don't have an army, just sabotage and sabotage until you can recruit one.:)
I never give up, but typically the enemy does.

Doesn't honor increase power since I started to focus on my honor instead of glory my power rank has gone up
when i was rank 18 in honor i was like rank 150 in power and now im second im rank 96
