I tryed it 2 days ago or so and it worked. Not it is glitched out so you can't swap even if you have not saved,

If you press the reward you choose, it will return to the box with glitching

To change your selection you just unclick the individual items, make sure you press save selection and triple check that you have lol.

I felt a bit nervous when it was processing.

Hi - as the game chooses your defenders on the wall and the Vet Swordsman are classed as an attacker on the game how do you get them there? Do you have to get all your defenders out first with the exception of the Vet Swordsman and then set the defense up in 100% melee to begin with and then gradually gradually bring range back in so that you can then use the 80/20 rule

Vet swords are not the best troops, but they are pretty good, besides the fact they use a lot of food.

yup all you need now is 550 vet flames (and  vet compo bowmen would be handy too) and lime bombs with a 90-90-80 moat cast and 35% more on the flanks with 25-35% gems on the wall, if your online you can hold the flank against almost anything (though you may want to open the gates anyway to 3k cave troops lol)

Yes I believe this style of defending is the best because if you also have all extra food from not over building other troops  for the courtyard, you instead can also dedicate it to range defenders and only defend the middle and one flank with the cherry blosseum set and they will only have like 400-500 guys get in but if you have courtyard gems or front, my opinon front gems are better if it stops the middle no matter what.  using the fire moat you most likely won because if they are 30% weaker from only getting a undefended flank and only sent mostly melee or range or a mix it's still a big lost on their part. Veteran swordsmen have a lot of potential if you know how to use them while accounting for a few hundred range troops in court yard you have to defend if they sent into one undefended flank. I even use it and people don't like to attack if you have over 800 defenders and have used that new build item on keep to put 50 extra more troops on wall and use those food build items. Overall I believe if you stockpile defenses at main you discourage attacks over all because people want to use glory flags, and it's not possible if your active and I usually use the hunting lodge to even boost my defenses to 1,000 defenders. With that being said you most likely not worth looting if you only have food at main during the tourney event. Being a pain is worth it if player knows they will get heavy lost of troops no matter what with little glory. I'm planing to see what full upgraded front gems do someday and see if it's worth putting more on flanks after doing research on walls to increase troop capacity even more, and the like and getting the hospital fully upgraded with 3 dwellings that also bring down defense casualties by 15%, so you can keep 40% of defenders because I think max hospital protects 25% right? So You will just need to heal all the defenders you lost that is very little.

Front gems, if you use them you can put more troops on other walls
