tool raking is an act that is frowned upon by almost everyone in this game but I am wondering whether it is better called good strategy or cowardice and hiding from a fight. please let me know more on this topic

This is strictly my own opinion...

In times of war it's good strategy.

When not at war I still wouldn't call it cowardice, per see, but it's not a very... ethical... thing to do.

ok, thanks for that. it is just a pain in the @rse when your not at war or even at war. I personally hate it and thats why I think it would be useful against enemies because they hate it too.

Yup, being toolburned isn't ever fun... unless you're the one toolburning, they might have a sadistic sense of humor or something lol. But I can understand why, in some cases, people do it.

Toolburning an attacker outside of war is how you get hit again

Toolburning an attacker inside of war is how you get left alone

well yeah many alliances tool burn.....we just got out of a war were all they did was tool burn...and that I think is a coward act, only tool burning...but tool burning then hitting is less of a coward act and more of a strategy, however many still frown upon it

If you tool burn you break an unofficial rule which alliance however you toolraked to break unofficial rules , which mean then anyone can do anything if you think you can win in an anything goes war sure go ahead but if you know you won't win a war like that I'd suggest to not do it.

If you tool burn properly and also attack it's strategy, if you do it the way it was done to you then it's a pain up the arse lol

Agreed, no one wanted to mess with me on Aus when I was sending 5 or 6 of them on a countermass followed by some heavy hits (for my level)
Muahaha

I frown upon tool burning when you're not at
war with the one you're tool burning but
while at war, tool burning is strategic.

@TurtleHunter (AU1)

Maybe your alliance in uk1 should stop using these frowned upon, dirty, cowardice ways then...??? (your words not mine)

Had many doing it... They got what was coming though!

Tool burning is ok when at war, or with an enemy. I dont consider toolburning cowardly, but unethical. but hey, all is fair in war.

don't ask me about my alliances tactics. if they gave up after this war they are almost dead to me. I don't go down without a fight and I can promise your members wrath and flame that someday, he will burn.
