Staying offline is not a good suggestion to get rubies because your castle will go to ruins after a certain number of days. # of days til ruin= your level+1
Where do you know that from ? i just want to make sure that what you said is true to prevent my castle from turning into ruins

Anyone who has even glanced at this forum knows that. I think it is in the FAQ, and we get about a million questions about it.

Here's what you do:
If you have a level 12 castle or more in international 1(for example),sign up and get a castle in United States 1 and international 2
do the basic objective, as in building stone quarry and wood cutter and farmhouse and dwelling and tower upgrade and extension and troops recruiting.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT SPEND ANY RUBY DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS.
And when the system leaves you on your own to complete objective stop playing the game and never login to the world where you just started your castle.
Then, you get an e-mail that your castle is in danger, and close to turning into ruins.
After a while you get an e-mail that your castle has fallen.
When you get that e-mail login to the game, you restart it, but you still have your old rubies, and the citizens give you and extra 875 rubies.
Keep doing this trick until you have like ten thousand rubies or a million, it's your choice.
Then, when you have the number of rubies you want, stay in the game and spend them wisely.
good Luck

This has been posted before. I am going to repeat what was said on there by almost every single player: this is completely stupid.
You earn 900 rubies from the Thorn King. You earn 150 for a single Barbarian Fortress, and 250 for just 1 fortress in the Fire Peaks. Doing the tax collector/troop series of quests earns you a decent amount, and there are thousands of rubies in all the quests you get. Many high level players have earned 500 rubies a day.
Also, what is the point in wasting ages staying offline? This game is about fun, and how can you have fun if you are never online?
This is also completely immoral. You are getting rubies that other people have paid for or worked hard for without any time or effort spent. Not that anyone seems to care.

Okay first i never said you have to wait ages offline, low level castles quickly get into ruins and disappear.
And if you want to have fun, you still have your main advanced castle.
I have a level 38 castle but I still have fun and all that stuff.
But the thing is that my idea is a passive thing. You're still getting the fun from your advanced main castle!
And this doesn't take any of your time, just 10 minutes to finish everything and then let it go until in ruins.
And this is also a thing that stops all these people from complaining that they can't buy rubies and stuff.

Since players can earn 500 rubies a day, for this to be worthwhile, you need to go to ruins and get the 875 rubies every single day. Even a level 1 takes 2 days to go into ruins (level + 1 day). Not worth it.
Whether or not you have another high level castle, there is no point in having a second castle if you don't use it.
I notice how you never replied to my point that this is completely immoral.

since rubies are not transferable from one account to another: this idea is impossible & stupid.

What? It might take a while to get some ruby things with 500 rubies a day, but it is a lot better than anything you suggested, so saying it isn't enough is just hypocritical.
Besides, 500 rubies a day = 36 English pence (sorry, don't have an equivalent in cents, but I'd guess it's around 50 cents) per day.

You don't transfer anything !! by the time you have gather a lot of rubies you would have finished the game at your main account. And then when you reach the number of rubies that you wanted you start building a castle in that world, and you can get the advantages of rubies.

Well, we have our different ways, and i also agree with what you said that's what i'm in my level 38 castle, i'm just building a fortune of rubies because when i finish building my castle im going to start in other worlds, and i don't want to go in the trouble many times so that's why im doing that trick. so i'm doing both ways, each in different world ( and by world i mean US 1, international 1...).

there is no "finish" to the game
if it goes to ruins, you start out with NOTHING and NO peaceperiod to help you get restarted!

Yeah, but, if you have a main castle, you wouldn't have time to go on the other ones. I have 3 castles in different worlds and I only go on my English 1. I hardly go on my other 2. Plus, just because there's only 60 levels doesn't mean you can finish the game. You wouldn't want to ditch your alliance, especially because you are probably one of their best.Real Slim Shady wrote: »You don't transfer anything !! by the time you have gather a lot of rubies you would have finished the game at your main account. I understand, and i already thought of that, i have 3 different browsers(chrome, explorer and firefox)
And i login on each of my worlds on each brower.
It doesn't need much thought.

wow you just need a separate window open for each, not necessarily a different program!
It still won't work though.

you don't get rubies for staying offline if you do GGS should stop it
