Tired of your strong/expensive offence units getting wiped away from your enemy? Wasting your money to make offensive units just to see in your mail that half of them are dead?
Well if you really want them alive send the ones you want to battle (suggest level 1 - 2 robber baron castles) and make shure once you send them out, find the time of the Take Off and Return Trip and make shure its longer than the time your enemy reaches your castle.
Note: Might Significantly lose your deffence depending on how much deffence units you have ( more deffence less deffence loss)

Another way you could do that is by just stationing your attack units in one of your outposts not under attack. No chance of unit loss that way, but you don't get the loot from the lvl 1 or 2 barons,

1) The best way is to send the Attackers to any of your outposts if you have them 8|
2) The other way is to send the Attackers to attack something: Outpost, RBC's, Castle etc.
Those are the best ways to save your Attack troops!

i understand the second method, but as for deploying attackers to your outposts, what if your outpost gets attacked.....then you're screwed....(i'm assuming you'll be focusing defenders in your main castle, so your outposts arent well defended)

What happens when your outposts are attacked when you're offline? I don't agree with this!

I agree that your main castle should be heavily guarded by your strongest defenders, but I don't agree your outposts shouldn't have at least a few defenders. Because like Alcraigh has pointed out, when you're offline and a player targets your outposts, your 700+ attack soldiers at each outposts will be decimated by the time you log on.
Having a few defenders may at least help with reducing the casualties of your attack soldiers.

Well, Another solution to the problems is to shuffle units around. If your outpost is being attacked, send your attack units to your main if it's not being attacked too. If it is, send it to another outpost. If all of your outposts AND your main castle are about to be destroyed, A, You must have REALLY ticked off some ppl man!, and B, You have other worlds, use them. Send those troops to your ice castle. and how many resource villages will you have there? How desprate can you get tho lol.

I think you should have defenders in all of your castles-what happens if the attack on your outpost is a capture attack and all you have are weakly defending attackers there?

have you thought about using spell and check your "deffence" is spelled defense and its the same thing with offence which is offense plus just station all of your troops at an outpost and then you wont have any troop loss AT ALLxrunepandax wrote: »Tired of your strong/expensive offence units getting wiped away from your enemy? I think yu have to be level25 to do that. Two enemy alliance lords are still attacking my outpost and castle.

To summarize:
1) The best PERMANENT way is to send the Attackers to any of your outposts
Often you are attacked when you are sleeping. You will not be in time to move your troops out of the way or concentrate for defense.
Disadvantages:
- OP's can be attacked and probably are defensively weaker than your main castle: less defenders and less protection. If someone is after your attacking troops and spies on all your OP's you can loose even more.
- Troops need food. If you have a bakery in your main castle and not in your OP than you will need more food than when stationed in the main castle.
2) The other way is to send the Attackers to attack something: Outpost, RBC's, Castle etc. This could very well be your opponent (thanks Lord Connington).
It is always the question if you detect the attacker in time: you are not 100% of the time watching the screen for attacks and the notification time is limited. To avoid nightly attacks while sleeping this method will work.
Disadvantage:
- Every night you need to arrange for an attack: your complete army over a considerable distance to make sure the traveling time is sufficient.
3) (thanks Joe96) Send your Attack soldiers to a Alliance Member as support and make them walk to that alliance member if your in war. You can send troops for 1,6,12 hours and can call them back when you want to. If not, just send them to a Alliance Member in protection mode and That way you know your soldiers are safe as you are offline.
Disadvantages:
- Does cost coins
4) (thanks Lord Connington) Open your castle gate (3, 6 or 12 hours).
Disadvantages:
- Does cost rubies and loot will be handed over. However, no soldiers will die and buildings are intact.
- Temporary
Did I mis anything more?

Hard to see that no one said what i about to say. Its really easy.... Just send your Attack soldiers to a Alliance Member for 12 hours as support and make them walk to that alliance member if your in war. If not, just send them to a Alliance Member in protection mode and That way you know your soldiers are safe as you are offline.

Can you give temporary support or do you need your alliance partner to return the troops?

Or you could send everything you've got at the guy attacking you and open your castle gate...

Thanks, forgot to mention this option. I have added it to my summary.
