Okay. It would work out VERY well if you make Dwellings in an outpost, and make farmhouses in all other castle, would it now?

Im not saying dont make farms in your "tax collecting outpost" Btw

Well, yeah. But the barterer is so freaking rare that it'll probably come round on Christmas Day or something.

If you have a wood/stone OP and are a high level, just fill it up with dwellings, because at that stage, resources are USELESS.

I didn't know that there were any wood/stone ops.

Anyways, what I do is if I'm going to be on for a long time, than I keep doing 10 minutes for tax collector.I get more coins than if I did 30 min or one and a half hours.

REsources arent QUITE useless. There are still a buku ton of tools to be made, and you never know when either the architect or barterer might come along. I'd say resources are backup. :D

i havnt seen the barter for many days

Unfortunately barterers are rare , but when they do come you feel like you can just trade everything for coins.

Not relevant - you were saying that it was very, very rare. The fact that it came around a few days before you posted but yet you failed to see that implies that you aren't particularly active and therefore shows that you should not be making comments such as that.

Or, if you have several hundred thousand coins, you could trade something else. Not everyone uses game tactics that require lots of coins.

I'm at war with an alliance (who has a lot of allies), so I only have 13k coins. I'm thinking about after my defense army is complete, i wont recruit till i have 60k coins.

i think the barterer is great!especially at my level(48) i have full food amounts in sand, ice, normal so i make about 100,000 coins or more every time he comes WITHOUT using wood or stone

[4172239] furture (US1) [None] :: Oct. 23, 2015, 9:17 p.m.
the barterer is like the alchemist. i heard that he appeared recently, but that was the only rumor i have heard of him being around for about as long as the alchemist.

another way is to attack samurai camps (while the event is running)

well this is an old thread, at the time samurai didnt exist, and im fairly certain nomads and FCs didnt either. a few years ago barterer was the way to go, but now tons of events feed coins like crazy.

I remember when the Barterer and Alchemist use to come quite often.

They say late at night. the Overseers and the Traveling merchant sneaked into their tents and *a**d them to death.

you need tons of coins to get troops out of hospital and to recruit new troops, esp in the face of an incoming attack.  Another way to get coins:   sell your excess equipment, gems, heroes.  Build extra dwellings in outposts and upgrade them when you have excess resources.  Donate your excess to your alliance, you get the most back from doing that in terms of faster support,
My fave is still attacking rb's, lots and lots of rb's!   The samurai event was great too, I ended up with excess coins to donate to alliance funds.
