Easy answer to ruby buying. Did you spend $40 or more golfing or something else that wasted 5 hours?
So who cares if you bought rubies but the other guy? Let him wait in his burning castle for weeks and weeks.
A non-burning castle is a happy castle. I golf, too.
Both are games.
I came to see if master builder lessened costs on repairing attacked buildings. Didn't see it come up here. oh well.

This section saved me over seven thousand rubies. I had assumed the crane would let me build two buildings simultaneously and was saving up for it. Now I know not to. Thank you very much!Thirteenth- The Crane. A replacement of the second and third building slots it is just another way to waste rubies. The two levels unlock building slots which are not worth it as they dont even build at the same time. Instead the buildings only start construction after the building ahead of it is finished. Patience with just one building slot will build your castle the same.

Personally, I like the crane and I have several of them. It allows you to upgrade buildings with the architect much quicker, to log off for longer periods of time with construction still in the queue, and it makes repairing with fires much easier.

I have a question about Plundering vs. Looting. How do I loot a castle/building/camp, instead of only plundering it. I am trying to "awaken the ruler in me", but it asks for me to Loot a castle. The last castle I attacked, didn't "loot", only "plundered"

very good advice thanks I will keep all that in my mind while playing.... what I cannot find is a question about building up the food source... I did buy extra food with rubies but that is before I found you advice...
