Can I please ask you how many troops are already in the game???????????????????????????????????

Let me start-

bowmen, spearmen, macemen, crossbowmen, swordsmen, archers, longbowmen,halberdiers, 2 handed swords, heavy crossbowmen=10

T knights, T crossbowmen, veteran macemen, veteran crossbowmen, veteran bowmen, veteran spearmen, marauders, Phyromatics=8

Kingsguard knight, kingsguard crossbowman, Sential of the kingsguard, scout of the kingsguard, regenade norsemen axemen,regenade norsemen bowmen, desert saber warriour, desert saber bowmen, cultist fanatic & the other cultist(I think bowmen but don't remember)= 10

Shadow mercenary- shadow mace, shadow crossbow, shadow felon, shadow rouge=4

10+8+10+4= 32 different soldiers! Don't consider the shadows, 28 different soldiers!
You want any more soldiers8|X(?(:huh:

The tool count is Even bigger! ^^;(:D

& oh sorry, the new honour ranking troops! :):huh:;)

Oh yeh, in Jade's comic thread, there was a comic that there are so many soldiers in the game that the system can't display it properly.

Yeah i want the barracks to customise your own section, you name the make of your soldier you design your soldier and you choose whatever weapon they should use and its free no food and they do die but very rarely.

The siege workshop should have ballista, catapults, trebuchet, or even "miners" guys that dig and under mine walls or gates or even sneak into the castle-
"Trojan horse" should be an option too- A gift of resources arrives from an enemy, Do you accept and possibly get ambushed? destroy it, insulting the potential ally/ enemy, or send it back, again potentially insulting them and, abandoning free trade

I think there mustn't be more soldiers because there are already way to many. There are already 46 different soldiers that I know of:
Prince, armed citizen, spearman, bowman, mace man, crossbowman, swordsman, archer, halberdier, longbowman, two-handed sword, heavy crossbowman, traveling knight, traveling crossbowman, shadow mace, shadow crossbowman, shadow rogue, shadow felon, veteran spearman, veteran bowman, veteran maceman, veteran crossbowman, renegade cultist warrior, renegade cultist bowman, renegade norseman warrior, renegade norseman bowman, renegade sabre warrior, renegade desert bowman, marauder, pyromaniac, knight of the kingsguard, bowman of the kingsguard, sentinel of the kingsguard, scout of the kingsguard, demon horror, deathly horror, lion bowman, lion warrior, bear bowman, bear warrior, dragon fire, dragon claws, skeleton warrior, skeleton bowman, cow berdier, and longbow ox!

And in case you're wondering, cow berdier and longbow ox really exist, they were in the thorn king event. Plus I know 35 different tools so everything is already way too complicated to keep up with. THERE SHOULD DEFINITIVELY BE NO ADDITION WHATSOEVER OF ANY NEW SOLDIER OR TOOL THAT WE CAN DISPOSE OF.

assassin/ninja/sniper/superspy or some other name. Available for use on offense, defense or solo missions. This character would have the ability to take out a commander or castellan; permanently destroying some or all equipment, or possibly stealing the equipment if we go the spy route. On a solo mission, it would take out a commander for a period of time, reducing the number available for use, and possibly getting some of his equipment. On offense, it could remove some of the castellan's equipment, on defense it could do the same to the attacking commander. Possibly, killing the attacking commander or defending castellan which would send troops into disarray, reducing their capabilities. The assassin could also defeat enemy assassins. City guards and body guards (which could simply be based on ratio of city guards per deployed commander, meaning if you have 60 city guards and 2 commanders in the field, each commander gets 20 and the castellan gets the other 20, unless you set the ratio otherwise) would reduce their effectiveness as well. I could see two different types: one is based on the spy and steals equipment and the other based on the crossbow kills commanders and castellans from a distance. They would have to be expensive, have a low chance of success, and be limited in number.

I would like to see some war dogs. They do not apply when you have to buy horses, however have very little or no looting capacity at all. Also, Some Calvary would be nice. Same as the dogs when it comes to horses however they should be expensive. Finally, there should be some axe man for the offensive side. Oh ya and it would be cool if there was like a pike man, so that they were great at offence and defense, yet better than spearmen, kind of like the swordsmen.

What would Calvary do to a castle in medieval times... not much, but If they were better suited for attacking an outpost, you know gallop through the town setting fire to the town.

I think they need a Ballistae ( big mechanical crossbow, shoots 6 foot bolts) for defensive purposes, not ruby but like 600 coins.

Nice bump. GGE would never put demon defenders. There are defenders in sands and peaks that have great defensive morale (better than vet defenders). Also, it would be hard to win an attack with super strong defenders.
