Attackers: Maceman, Crossbowman, Two-HandedSword, Heavy Crossbowman

Both: Swordsman

We have veterans as well.

What about these new ones:

Attackers: Marauders with massive Pikes, Vikings with big axes, Roman gladiators with flaming arrows
Defense: Stone throwers, tar pitch throwers and Giants at Gates

The new soldiers should be offencive and deffensive with 1 being higher than the other but find it hard to believe that an offensive man would not know how to deffend

Why is there no cavalry in this game?

We should be able to recruit cavalry which could intercept attacking forces... We could recruit them from the Stables and they could cost 5 food each (2 for the man, 3 for the horse). There is also no building in the game to upgrade the units you already have.

Okay i have read all the ideas before me and here is my opinion. Since religion is not implemented in the game add the ROMAN gods (not greek gods because roman gods are more war directed) what we will able to do with them is recuit different DEMI-GODS with powerful bonuses. (max of 1 demi-god) each demi-god type will have different powers and costs. (The demi-gods of Mars(ares) would be the best) here is an example. Demi-god of Mars has 750 melee combat attack power, 500 ranged combat attack power (can throw spears) 100 defense combat power for both melee and ranged, 10 food eaten per hour, 30 speed, and 100 loot capasity. the cost of a mars demi-god would be 10,000 gold coins and could maybe boost the power of you army by 7%. there should be about 10-15 choices each with there different special abilitys. eg children of Jupiter (Zeus) could summon lightning to cause more damage to the castle and too create chaos which reduces the defence power of all soilders by 5%. Now idea is the same as heros idea but with more perks. GGE should also add catapolts for defense and attack.Also GGE should add troops along with another level for barracks. the troops would be attackers and defenders and they would be elephant riders. one than specializes in attack and the other defence. also to prevent over use of it by high level players you can only get 30 of each type of rider, that could be added with a max of 10 riders per flank. for example i can only use 30 attackers in one flank per wave. the elephant riders would be similar to tools as they would have their own area with a max of ten. Also you cannot use elephant riders on people level 30 and under because they unlock the level 6 barracks at level 30. Rubie tools could be used to add to the attack power and tool effect of each elephant type. (eg armour plating in battle) but the basic elephant could be bought with gold coins. If you want more information on my opinions or have questions please reply and tell me with a quotation bubble.

Ps if you dont like the god idea it could just be heros and improve your attack or defense in different ways (eg one type of hero could increase the morale which increases fighting power)

With my idea or the idea of new soilders compleatly. please explain why? I think new soilders would make the game more fun.

For me it's your idea I disagree with.
I'm great with the calvary idea but only if they are specialized like the shadows e.g don't provide defense in castle and can't be used in attacks with regular soldiers. I would like the calvary to only be good against incoming attacks you see. You send your calvary out and see how many of the attacking army and tools you killed and how many of your calvary were lost in the raid on them. I think alot of the other changes are drastic and would take too much time to implement.

You are multi-posting which is frowned upon. More so if you have nothing to say. The defenses are already stronger as it should be easier to defend a castle than win an attack. And it's the wrong time period for muskets. And I just noticed you've been on for one day. Maybe give it a week before you suggest anything just in case you don't know enough to suggest it?

with this you can bring new units to the game such as pikemen. you can send pikemen with your attacking force to protect your attacking army from cavalry or you send cavalry with your attacking army to counter the defending cavalry army.

if you want to bring calvary to this. It means that all the tactics that exists until now will be broken.We will need to calculate it all over again and as you know, GGE is toooooooooo lazy for this :P. But I have to admit,it could be a good idea

Heroes would be great.

They could be twice as strong as special units, but more to upkeep of course. Then you could have server based events such as pvp joust tourneys, where players can place up to 10 heroes ( 5 ruby entry fee per hero) in the joust.
The winners get gold/ rubies/ a banner. Tounrney winners get 10x the rubies they entered, and their heroes do not consume food for a number of days. (heroes feast)

Hero type ideas
-Sworn Knight; High attack, good Defense adds + 5 to all fields cost less to feed as he is a sworn night
-Wizard; high attack low defense, acts like a medico in reduction of casualties, higher chance of finding alchemist materials during raids.
Paladin; medium attack high defense, adds protection to other units.
Berserker; low defense stupid high attack, special power stupid high attack, cost almost too much to feed more than two. muscled and blue swirly tattoos that one.
Mounted Knight. Hight attack High defense +10 to all fields, loved by the people acts as a +2 decorative piece, when he deserts -5 to public order.

just some suggestions.
