Damn, just read through all reviews on GGS from glassdoor.
Seems Steve was not the problem, the entire company is.
Take a long read here from current and ex-employees to see how rotten the company is.

I feel bad for the way you were treated on the forums and even more so the way the company treats its employees. Must be good to get away from all that.

Hey CM Arcanine,
I didn't see you around much, since by the time you came in as a prominent community manager I had already retired from my forum days. However, you seemed just, fair and thoughtful in the communities wishes and regulations. With a heavy heart, I say bye. The time spent in GGS was surely well spent, but it seems that even the best things must end eventually. I wish you best luck in all future endeavours.

Hi steve
Respects for the way you took this on yourself to act as a go between....
Like footy fans many on here me included class the go between as the none responsive horde,you do not come across like this and the efforts on the nomad issue months ago was honest,upfront and you did not get the credit you deserve.....people always take the negatives...ie this is not what i want in email blah blah blah but you set up a skype room which in itself was going against the grain and code of conduct gge have.
So goodluck,respects and above all I hope you have a long and happy life mate.
The current situ with no live chat,delayed replies on a weekend shows gge as a restricted response company struggling to understand the importance of the customer base-replies to those spending money on a weekend should not need an email,should be live chat,I do understand the cost issue but same time the game would have a happy customer base and it would work better.
Gge please understand this guys work here-many players I feel stayed on this server putting money in your pockets because of him-these guys need more power,restricting them gives the customers a frustrated game and above all makes many leave for better customer relation games..........so listen you lovely german xxxxx!

I know things haven't always been perfect, but I've always had you in my heart, and always will do.
GGS has given me a lot over the years, incredible friendships, great experiences, and the opportunity to work with all of you, but time waits for no man, and there's a world out there that needs exploring. Don't worry; Empire will live on, and you'll be in the amazing hands of Evoke. Rosie is a great friend of mine, and she'll do everything she can to help all of you, so please be kind to her. Of course, our forum angel Wicked will still be around to back Rosie up, which I'm very grateful for.
I'll leave this thread open and pop in over the next few days if any of you have anything you'd like to discuss with me via PM before you go, feel free to wing one my way.
Thanks again for everything, and all the best for the future, whatever it may hold for all of you. To the moderators; thank you for always having my back and assisting me when I needed it the most. To all of you players; thanks for bearing with me during some rough times. I hope you'll all look back on our time together fondly.
