To make matters worse the beri invasion didn't happen this month and now the fi (i hate this event) came on without warning and an attack without tools took out a bunch of my troops and some armorer tools grrr, and no i don't want a bunch of troops i cant feed sent to my main as compensation i want every prize up to the 425 deco and top 100

I'm starting to get more info now, and as I get more I will post it on here: GGS discovered heavy server load due to the berimond event; several servers were suffering and ending the event was the only option. Technically it is not possible to end it only on these servers. it is a global event, that is why every server is affected by this. That is the only stuff I know at the moment, as I find out more I'll pass it on.
In terms of having the Foreign invasion event after the faulty alliance tournament, given the problems that had been faced due to the previous event, I think it would have been highly unadvisable to change from the previously set event schedule, as this could have caused more problems.

Come on GGS, you have to accept sooner or later the bugs are coming out thicker and faster than anything else. It's not exactly good for the game is it? About time the main focus was directed to bug fixes before bringing out new features that will only bring with them yet more bugs.
Angus I do hope they listen to you more than they do to the rest of us because this is getting beyond a joke.
The fact that berimond is different in that people spend a day or so building up before hitting often has been highlighted by moderators internationally, and so this should be taken into account when working out rewards and compensation packages.
I personally believe that GGS are trying to sort out bugs at the moment rather than bringing out updates, as has been proven in a few of the recent bug fixes which have replaced updates.

We are aware that people have spent lots on the event, as it is normally a highly reliable event that is a key part of many player's gameplay, I can only assure that I am doing all I can to get the proper amount of compensation to each individual.
There never will be a way that everyone is satisfied, but there is recently a change in the way GGS is taking on the feedback they get from the community.
So I do understand some that are angry about the coins, rubies etc. they invested to have a succesful tournament, though I would really like us to stop cursing and offending others and the GGS Team. They are currently working very hard on re-establishing a satisfied customer base.
Overworking all the various bugs that we players experience. It will take a while before the game will be close to bug-free (completely bug-free is a fairytale). So let's keep giving them constructive critiscism, instead of cursing and offending people who also are just doing their job as good as they can.
So, although we've lost the ability to increase our points at least they then won't reduce.

and a glitch in the title rankings is hardy a reason to shut down beri fix the titles glitch afterwards if you have to we didn't have beri invasion on green last month either, why bother doing good events if they keep shutting ti down
Whilst you are quite right that there will never be a bug-free environment, and that cursing doesn't help, GGS do need to be aware just how frustrated their customers (and indeed their raison d'être) are. If only we could be confident that they would take our desperation on board. And acknowledge just how loyal their player-base must be because they still keep playing and trying to weather the storm.
