Like I have stated before, only fair solution is to 

roll game back to this morning - regardless that we face even more downtime, then no one will loose troops or ressourcevillages due to the downtime
prolong king eric and nomads by a day
fill up food all over, so that players sleeping or working are safe
make a gift package to show, that you care about customers

This way, you wont have thousands of tickets to handle, and no player is set back in any of the running competition, nor will we have chaos about ressourcevillages on all servers.

Time to listen to players and show, that you do that.

Update:

The reason for this inability to connect to the game was a connection problem in the server provider centre, which we couldn’t possibly foresee and that we could not fix directly, since it’s a separate entity not directly under GGS' control.

So GGE rents Server space...

After this happening at the US server many times.. What upsets me is how we, the customers, no matter what server, are supposed to be understanding and not blame GGE because its something you "couldn’t possibly foresee and that we could not fix directly, since it’s a separate entity not directly under GGS' control."  Yet when this does happen WE are put into the 10th dimension of hell trying to prove our losses and beg for customer service response when it certainly is LESS under our control than yours. I think GGE should be MORE understanding of its customers, and not be so defensive all the time.  Are the customer service reps kept in a dark basement and given lashes and beatings for each troop they refund or something? Or are they given bonuses for every person they say no to that ultimately gives up? It's gotta be one of those things...

Ever since they merged the US server with the UK server we have been having nothing but problems.
Yes we may have had a few before this merge but not as many, or as often, as we are now.
They need to put us US players back on the US server.

i just got a free day to day so i was planning to run on nomads. :s No i can forget the price i could win by nomads and king eric. Not to mention my losses on starving soldiers because i can't relocate food or soldiers...

I was in for 10 seconds (autologin).....So they are now probably bringing down the servers, adding the food, preparing the compensation. So maybe we are up and running in 1 hour?

Absolutely spot on ,@BM Ang1243 Is doing a great job of providing us updates with little information, but its same old story as over a year a go. If GGS cant advance a gaming company in a year - You need a new strategy.

Maybe its time to change to another eu server! The firm/server doesn,t deliver the service for GGE required to forfill the need to run GGE properly! This is not the first time the eu server is down! You should think that GGE has a contract with them, that garantees a properly running server for the game to function.

GGS will have to explain within 30 days why they have not provided the goods/services that they have taken payment for.

I suggest everyone that used credit card should do the same

This is the first time today I've been able to get on the forum since GGE lost their servers.

I'm sure GGE will make some attempt at compensation, dumping 1000s of bits of food in castles with no troops, but what about those of us who were just starting their 6hr boost in the spring event. All those lost rewards. I had saved my boost for today as I was not working so could give it may full attention, can't do that now.

What type of troops will GGE give us, I've lost various ones not just the Ruby troops but Imperial markmen etc.

The food requested by the community simply cannot be granted, the servers are completely disconnected, Server developers cannot reach the servers, and so we can't get onto the dashboard to grant food to everyone, if it becomes possible, I'll update you all and let you know.

what are we suppose to do about the troops we lost because of the down time of the servers? i lost at least 900 troops because i wasn't able to access my account.

i Hope we get enough food else i will lose 2/3 of my troops because it was in my headquarter to attack nomads. And i think there are lots of people who has the same problem.
