Like to thank those that took the time out to put our collective view of the Nomads fiasco to GGS
The level of compensation I can live with but fully understand Phil's point and agree with it
Let's hope we don't have to do this all again the next time GGS screw up

well no thats the point we are not getting what we are owed, some are getting what they are owed others are not. I thought the collective standpoint was that not a single player on the server should be worse off than they would have been if the event was run properly. I thought thats was the absoloute bare minimum we were all going to accept, But it seems that as soon as some people got what they wanted, its a case of well i am alright jack. That doesnt even take into account the actual compensation. only getting what we should have got in the first place without actually having to ask.
And seriously trust me i really couldnt give a toss about the items, you can give all mine to a new player of your choice for all i want or need them. But as a point of principle I simply do not understand why anyone would settle for less than they should have been given. I honestly dont. Just as i dont understand why GGE would seek to give players less than they are owed. It makes no sense at all to me, both from a moral, legal or commercial viewpoint.
What i do know is human nature dictates if you allow someone to give you less than you earned they will do it to you over and over again. I mean from their point of view, why give someone 100% of something if they happy with 80% of something.

Surely someone of your stature can E-mail support with your own demands now many have accepted it and get a better result. Everyone on here can clearly see you have not got what you deserve.
Its a shame @CM Arcanine did not message - the proposed offer before releasing it. (Something to look at)
That way what ever was announced players involved would of been accountable.

Sorry, but I think you're misunderstanding this a bit. It isn't a back and forth of proposals. At the moment, this is all that we can offer. All of the Alliance rewards that would have been received and an extra load of Tablets/Chests should make up for the situation. I get that there are other perceived problems leading on from the original issue (as a chain reaction of sorts), but I assure you we'll handle these problems better in the future.
For now, all I can say is thanks for taking part in the discussion (to all of you, not just those involved in the Skype), and sorry that it took so long for us to reach this decision. I know it won't please everyone, but it's all we can offer right now.
Just wanted to make an additional point here too; Those chosen for the Skype chat were voted for by the other players in the thread. They were all very polite, and there was no hint of bias or 'doing things for a specific alliance'. We spoke about the Nomad issues only, not events or bugs with the game (as we are aware of those, and consistently working to improve in those areas). They all did a great job, and I'm thankful that they wanted to take part and help myself and the community. There was no decision made during the chat, and no 'proposal/acceptance', as some have mentioned here.

What do you believe is less, in regards to what is owed, Philt?
They are paying out all the player rewards earned in the alliance section in nomads (everything from 0 to 93k in tablets earned, the maximum alliance reward). They appear to have an issue going over in skips so it appears they have swapped 88 *5hr skips for 595 Chests and 590 Tablets (as these are the amounts over and above what would normally be earned for maximum rewards). They are paying out these maximum player rewards to every player on the entire server.
I stood on the the principle of we earned them, we get them and if you can't figure an easy way to ensure everyone gets what they earned (also what they would have earned if functioning correctly) then you pay it to all so that everyone gets get least what they earned. No one should lose out on a reward because it was not functioning.
In my view (as a member of an alliance that would have received maximum rewards therefore the most anyone can get on the server) we, the players, are not getting less than we earned.
As said before this is what was 'owed' and compensation does not appear to be being paid unless GGS follow Mike's suggestion about ruby doublers etc.

Don't like this part of the compensation as well. It's just something to get people addicted to buying rubies again after the boycott.

The idea was to allow the players who used a lot of rubies during the event to have the opportunity to do so again if they choose to - while being able to potentially use the free rubies from a doubler only. Don't think this really makes sense. You used rubies originally to get X number of tabs and rewards, then you get 2 times more rubies to get 2X tabs and rewards. "Having the opportunity to do it again" essentially achieves nothing. It's not what is "owed" nor is it a compensation, especially for non-ruby players.

if someone stole £1000 from you and then said I'm sorry but here is £50 back because that's all I have left you would thank them for the offer and tell them where to go while you looked at other ways to make the matter right.
As Arcane says the meeting went well however no proposals or acceptance was made which makes this even more of a poor customer relations screw up than before. Instead of making an offer you are telling your customers what they are getting, it may be more than you have given out before but lets be honest how much does this cost GGE? The settlement you have offered does not even touch the vast amount of resources, coins and items that "could" of been looted let alone the wasted time for a lot of players in an event they were unable to complete due to lack of skips and downtimes.
You have infuriated more people with your customer service than the actual mistake in the first place. To then tell your customer that they will get less than what is owed and no compensation is totally ridiculous.
I am a non ruby player for this exact reason. I refuse to put my money in the pocket of a company who just does not listen to its customers and treats them like dirt.
Maybe if you invested money into customer services instead of swimming pools, gyms and free breakfasts you would make more money from happy customers!
