Whilst I'm here, I would like to thank all the representatives who took time out of their day to take this fight to GGE when folks like me had given up and was ready to delete my account. You have done excellently. The rewards may not be satisfactory, but it is a small step towards building a bridge with GGE and resolving future matters.
I was on the verge of leaving, but I may just stick around a little longer
Once again, thanks for your hard work.
And as for GGE - Sort yourself out and stop making us jump through hurdles to get what we earned!

the point is hornby, by accepting less than we are owed is giving GGE all the proof they need that if they throw us a bone we are gonna take it. It a sad sad day in my opinion, for the first time I have known the server got together and stood by a point of principle to say enough is enough. then the first time GGE get their wallet out we see the pound signs and make a grab for it, thinking we got a result, where really no matter how you look at it we are still out of pocket. We lost a £20 and accepted a £10. Not a good day. you think GGE are ever going to offer us £20 again? not when they know we will take a tenner

Just to be clear -
This discussion was for thousands of customers across 6 servers - Not a player or Alliance.
Believe me we put you opinions across , as I have mentioned we never 'settled'.
GGS can not please thousands of customers in one single motion. We pushed them to make it possible.
Although we know of the 'possibilities' as many of you have had something reinstated /changed due to error maybe even in some cases offered more.
This is the 'support' teams initiative not the 'development' teams.
I do not defend GGS on what they done or offered

in all seriousness i would rather get nothing than get less than i am owed. And if its not been accepted then i really hope whoever been speaking to GGE tell them to stick their offer where it belongs

yes that list was not total as you know there are a LOT more prizes than just these i cant remember every price but i am sure there are lots of tools etc too. But yes they were the main ones. For sure the skips were the biggest loss for everyone i expect. GGE saying they cant increase storage is simply not true, if they can put a limit on they can remove it. probably a single line of code needs removing!! probably a one min job.
alternativly there are lots of other ways they can give the skips. they could fill storage like they proposed then give every player on the server one of the blue gift boxes containing 100 skips, and give us 24 hour to collect it. that way we would have 24 hours to use the skips we had in storage. \a little like the actual event works.

Anyone who works for a half decent company that deals directly with customers knows that customer satisfaction is a priority. The fact that GGE have been reluctant and pushed just to give us what we were originally OWED (arguably less) just proves how there customer services are seriously flawed. I'm not sure if that sort of thing is normal in Germany but here in UK that simply isn't acceptable.
We have had a number of players who have fought hard for our cause (whom I very much appreciate and respect) but no-one should have had to post a thing- GGE should have compensated us without delay. Infact i'm very much doubtful we would have got even 25*5 hr skips had it not been for the outrage!

If it costs no money to give people a few tokens and chests, why can't they give people their owed rewards??? Surely there is a loop in the coding in which they can track and correct it?

There was a time scale on the meeting.
We spent half of it trying to understand why - which still is not clear ( we just know it would take a loooong time)
You should be entitled to what is 'owed' to you , Thats yours they are withholding.
I just wish it was that simple - To me - They was saying its possible but time consuming - like weeks time consuming..
But if it was announcement we will take 4 weeks but youll get what your owed - Heres . x for waiting and heres x for your time.
Then that would of been better.

Agreed. But it was GGE's job to make sure that the proper compensation was given to whoever was affected, maybe use previous data or a sample. Obviously GGE did it this way because -UltraFlavoured (GB1) said:There was a time scale on the meeting.

1) Many alliances will not be aware and will not claim their rewards.
2)It is less effort and time for THEM and more time consuming and effort for us.

sure gge could have auto dropped these items, it a pain the arse, i think they hoping all will not collect and that there is some lazy leaders out there, think we all know that it,s always going to be hard work to get anything out of them, nothing will change, didnt need a meeting to fight for what is owed,

My take on this, is the recent change of server war alliance going independent, therefore GGe needs to cater to the Free alliances, so they keep in business, however, agreed, the contests are too short, except of course Storm..and taking away the free horrors.hordes for alliances reaching goal..only level 70s can be helped with this new Building..so this hurts the alliances as a whole, when ur in an alliance like mine where every mebers to the smallest is trying to reach glory,n u take away rewards..what can I say its not right..been here awhile saw many changes, this is one I don't agree with

I think John because of the great work done here to get a result from GGE the US people are looking more today as there server has been down over 12hrs and they will be going down this road also for lost troops.
