Really REALLY getting over this.
I'm runnign -15k and just started a feast. Correct your notice of server restarts as I only had a 5k top up on the way and not enough time to send another loot attack.
ffs you guys are donkeys. Let me guess I starve send a message to support ?? wait 3 months for no reply.

Yep, another example of why GGS are slackers, not reminding us that they'll be a hotfix a day before the actual "hotfix" anyway, who even sends off shadow attacks?? Too expensive and if you want to attack someone at least show your fkn face!

@JJJJJJSK (AU1) Cut the swearing out, buddy.
I realise that downtimes are annoying, but we announced this in advance. We're actually currently looking into a way to distribute the downtime messages in-game better, perhaps earlier, as well. Regardless, we have to do these fixes, and there's never going to be a 'perfect' time, as everyone worldwide is active.

Quite simply, when the game goes down for maintenance or an update, food consumption and feast times should be suspended. Everything else can carry on but these are the two biggest gripes everyone has with the game going down. You don't need to give us more than 1 minute warning because people will take advantage of this and launch attacks which they know will never be defended/supported.

Swear or not swear, whatever the case. Put everyone into protection mode for 1 hour or something. That way all attacks bounce and credit every place with 10k food so no-one starves.
We had a mass once that we sent everythign downtime occured and the other alliance logged on with 10-15 minutes notice to 70? odd incommign attacks. Sure our mass wouldnt have worked all attacks would have bounced but it wasnt fair on them to have that long to call people get them online send support etc etc.
Downtime causes HUGE problems with so many aspects of gameplay especially with one minutes notice and attacks out on other players more than anything.

Well, well, well...don't i just feel like i have been vindicated !!! I have said in other threads about maintainance occurring at peak time for the Australian server, i suggested spreading the load and maybe doing it during quieter periods, but that would obviously occur when the GGE staff are all in the pub laughing at us poor punters !!
@CM Arcanine .......telling someone not to swear.....do you play this damn game? you always say you feel for us, but there is a direct conflict of interest on your part!! You work for them FFS !!! Your job is to mollify the customers!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE FRUSTRATIONS WE FEEL?? Or is this just a job for you? Showing empathy is part of your JD !!
Talk to the muppets in charge, get them to read the forum, maybe then they would understand the depth of antagonism and frustration felt by your customers.
These stupidly timed maintainence periods are just the tip of the iceberg !! Hot fix after hot fix, hot fixes for hot fixes !!!
GAH, warn me for bad language if you must, but i consider myself a pretty erudite person, but sometimes when you deal with people who just are not listening to you, then a short sharp reminder woks wonders.

Didn't i read somewhere about servers being moved ?? Or do you have just one big motherless server?? Regardless, like i said before, SHARE THE PAIN of these fixes !!!! Maybe if your lot had a comprehensive testing plan there would be no need for as much downtime.
And as for telling someone publicly to "Cut the swearing out, buddy." instead of waving a big stick publicly, a quiet word in person might be more effective !! Management 101 !!
