it's not over-dramatic when it's real Lightswayer, obviously you have not experienced what it is like to be brutally silenced, bludgeoned into submission, and endlessly bullied for standing up for what you believe in.LightSwayer (US1) said:You guys are so over-dramatic.

Dear KON and KON Sympathizers,
I realize that you can target me for saying this, but it is not a challenge, why would you waste you money and resources on somebody like me when you have far bigger fish to fry?
Everyone has a right to their opinion, and everyone has a right to criticize that opinion, but when someone takes it as far as to bully the person for hat opinion is the moment when the entire structure of society fails and the equality of anarchy is replaced by the inequality of hierarchy.
Please explain why it is that if you attack someone they are not allowed to fight back against you? Every time you attack somebody you say that if they fight back then it means war and that you and every other KON alliance will destroy them. How is that not cowardly, cruel, and manipulative? You pick fights than when you get those fights you through twenty thousand troops at them claiming that "This is a war game" as if that justifies you're actions. You fight the good fight, but when the good fight comes to fight you, all you do is hide behind your allies.
Please explain why it is that you can change the rules of this game? In Beri you have declared that every person that attacks your camps is an automatic target. You do know that the purpose of Beri is to attack other people right? And if "Berimond has changed, and you don't need to attack people anymore", than why are there rewards for attacking people? Some say that this is a war game, but if that was intended, than why doesn't auto war go off if you are attacked in Beri? Answer: Because the entire purpose of Beri was to attack people. You take advantage of everything you can, hiding behind the nearest boulder every time the consequences for your actions begin to show up.
Again I am not trying to challenge KON to a battle, it is obvious who would win, but be warned, if you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you could ever imagine. And before you turn around and click that attack button on my main castle, think about every other person you have attacked, torchered, and driven out of this game for pure pleasure, imagine how you would feel to be them, and then reconsider your decision to attack another person for joy and the sport of it.

the rhyme of the ancient mariner..... Samuel Taylor Coleridge ....
Ah NO.
"The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner ~ Iron Maiden.
We all have different reasons for our fight against KoN. I've been reading the more important posts.
What it comes down to is this. You either fight HONORABLY. Or you fight by superior forces and tactics unbecoming of an Officer.
I could easily be farther along in my game play if I was to attack weaker targets. But that would not be chivalrous. There is no challenge in attacking a weaker player. And it can cause them to lose interest in the game.
They then will seek out a new game to play where the battle field is more balanced.
Oh so you want to be No. 1 on some silly *ss list. It's not that big of an accomplishment for me. It's how I play the game that gives me a more rewarding gaming experience.

The difference between a professional soldier fighting a war and a genocidal tyrant enforcing his will is as follows:Cormyria (US1) said:This only proves that sanity is clearly beginning to fragment as the war drags on and paranoia sets in ( Uncle Ben is one of my allies in this war; he is the leader of HARVESTERS and he just wants to solidify an "Overwatch Committee" of independent alliances to fight "bullying" here in game ) ... perhaps Godsnobleman and his team may have used multi account tactics before? idk it all goes back to the whole point i was trying to make about "The WEAPONS we use on our enemies the most are the same WEAPONS we fear to face in the end ".... FENRIR ... ie Maybe he thinks you are all different versions of me lol ... maybe someday he will realize that we are just a bunch of human beings with differing opinions ( and the idea of resistance is just that an "idea" that is shared by others as they see fit ) and on that day maybe he will decide to come down from his fortress of ID and join the human race ..... here is a question for you what is the difference between a professional soldier fighting a war and a genocidal tyrant enforcing his will ???Noble Leone (US1) said:i just received a message from him to reading "Or are you UncleBen? ^_^-G"
Firstly, why in the world would he think I was named Uncle Ben, secondly, who is Uncle Ben, and thirdly where is this coming from? They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose,Nor spake, nor moved their eyes;It had been strange, even in a dream,To have seen those dead men rise.
the rhyme of the ancient mariner..... Samuel Taylor Coleridge ....
A professional soldier does not have a choice in weather or not he is fighting, (a soldier is not allowed to humiliate his ranking officer, unless the thing you are doing is immoral) Soldiers are trained to kill for their country and to be willing to sacrifice anything for it, however, if the soldier is sent to battle (lets say in Iraq, than if he refuses to go, he will be court-marshaled, which can result in death.
A genocidal tyrant on the other hand, has every choice about his actions and usually little to no reason other than their insanity. They usually are not doing committing genocide for the good of their country but instead for their oun selfish beliefs.

Whelp this went to the forums I see... what goes around comes around.
I'm going to explain this for the last time (I've even put in pictures).
My objective: Rustle Corm enough until he realizes that he spams.
Corm's objective: fight to survive.
Notice that my objective uses the words "realizes" and not "censor" which Corm has accused me of doing repeatedly.
Since our conversation has been put out here and made public (somewhat), I'm obligated to show my side of the story.
Let it also be known that this forum is and has been a do something about it forum. I've had incidents in the past where people have seen me as too ignorant on the forums, and so have sent attacks and sabotages in the game. This is not bullying.
As for WH40K's involvement, I've only turned Deathwind red so I can benefit from WH40K speed/loot bonuses, other than that, all other members are just in it for loot (their choice).
My first message:

Complies at a point with Manatee, I am in no way wrong to accuse Corm of spam. No one minds if he posts, just don't spam the boards.
Next message:

Made even more clear, yet the end result is still an accusation that I have poor rules of engagement and objectives.
Next:

A reference to Corm's belief that this thread is popular.
Next:

Objective made clear, yet I still get even more accusations of attempted censorship.
And of course the final incoming message:

Bringing me to the point that Corm is either unbelievably ignorant or simply does not know how social mechanics interact with the game.

And of course, the weak TBS and outer/RV attempts.

After much effort by Corm's side, WH40K RVs are still WH40K!
Feel free to argue, it won't change the truth.

One question, How does Cormy's spamming affect you in a reasonable way?
What I mean by "reasonable" is an actual excuse

Thank you GodsNobleman, I have been waiting to here the other side of the argument, although I had assumed that this was mostly between Cormyria and Neph, I had no idea that you were in the picture until Cormyria's last posts. But I must polity differ, with your strategy. Firstly, the re-posting of images doesn't bother me, and doesn't seem to bother many other people, on the contrary, Cormyria ouns several of the most popular threads (the Cormyrian Herald, and the crossroads tavern) which both have over a thousand views, the Herald even has 10.2k views and 1.7k posts.
Secondly, in the last message that you posted, you threatened him with destruction for his "repetitive posts" and by the way, that is a no-no according to the Terms of Service:
| 6.5 All users of the communication facilities provided on the Goodgame Studios Internet pages are required to choose an acceptable choice of words. Abusive criticism or attacks on people in derogatory manner shall be avoided. The threat of being attacked because of his "repetitive posts" is in fact censorship, weather it is censorship of his opinion, or censorship of his posts it is still censorship. Again, this is a piece of constructive criticism and is in no way intended to offend you, this is an argumentative forum, and that is what it is being used for. |

Those who think my motives are questionable/unreasonable- you are right.
However, the entire association mirrors Corm's actions (unless you think spam is unreasonable). I am unreasonable to the point my peer is.
It is correct by the Terms and Conditions that Corm can post whatever, but there is a psychological line we draw here.
Doubling and triple posting is frowned upon by many in the past, so that's what I mean by living off the fine print, and doesn't always concern only double/triple posts.
You may think of me as insolent and just a bully, but the point where Heartnoir and Manatee (two of the most reasonable players in the game) feel to post against Corm is my main point, and an indicator that there is too much posting on Corm's part.

And I do not believe that he is "Spamming"
Spam~
spam
spam/
noun
- 1.irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients.
- 2.trademarka canned meat product made mainly from ham.
verb
- 1.send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet
What Cormyria posts is not irrelevant or inappropriate, he is definitely not posting pictured of "canned meat" and he is technically not sending the messages, he is posting them, and it is also not going out to large numbers of people, not very many people play on the forums, and even fewer read this thread, as you posted previously, only about five people (me, Lightswayer, Coolking, Cormyria, Manatee, and now you). Therefore, what he does cannot even be classified as "spam", but rather just repetitiveness.

Leone, I'm going to repeat that Heartnoir and Manatee hopped in at some point to dispute Corm. You may think he is not spamming, that is perfectly fine, but quite a few others do.
I've been a donkey and seen donkeys here, and am quite old on these forums, so my interpretations are not so far fetched as people may think.

GodsNobleman, I can understand where you're coming from, but you must understand that while you may feel that your opinions are not very far fetched, others do. Any conspiracy theorist can tell you that. People refuse to believe what is farthest from their oun opinions, sometimes they're right, and sometimes they're wrong, but opinions are still opinions, there just opinions. . . which is an opinion.
However, in the midst of this heated discussion, the opinion with the most evidence supporting itself wins, and i'm afraid that you have failed to disprove our ( Cormyria's and my oun) opinion that people are attacking other people for their posts, and that is wrong. Firstly, you accused him of spam, and what he does, does not really qualify as spam (as proven in my last post). That you are over-reacting to Cormyria's posts by attacking him in game, which is a violation of the Terms of Service (rule 6.5) and is a form of Cencorship. Not to mention that Cormyria is the only person standing between these forums and utter collapse into a boring and mundane forum. (Which you haven't even tried to counter)
again, this is not intended to be offensive, but is merely part of the discussion at hand.

yes, GodsNobleman, you tried to prove that you weren't in fact, censoring Cormyria or attacking him, but instead you provided us with pictures of your attacks and claimed it was because he is "spamming" the forums, but by attacking him you were censoring him, and you basically just confessed to every charge hurled at you.

I'll have some fried Spam with a pineapple ring on Light Rye.
There is always a select very few that post their viewpoint to keep the forum interesting. As Cormyria has stated. Since you very much more powerful members of alliances continue attacking him. And your bounty is next to nothing now. And you still continue to attack him. And anybody else that states their objections to KoN's unethical gameplay.
Why would you stronger players want to continue to attack for next to nothing in loot?
Again, I reiterate myself. Some of us play the game for other reasons. Than just the warring aspect. And when I attack. I stay within the 5 lvl rule I have set for myself in playing the game HONORABLY. I send back to my target the loot plus a little more that I scored in my victory.
And I write a message explaining that I only attacked to complete a "Quest Book" objective. Usually these "Victims" don't feel like their nose has been bent out of shape. Or in other words, they exercise superior Mental Maturity that exceeds their own physical age.
Further more, Again, if you are the sole owner of a dozen RVs, or more. Certainly you can afford to give up a couple or a few so that others can continue to advance their gameplay.
And when you are a member of a strong alliance. And you gang up on another player. It only validates your Cro-Magnon inferior mentality.
