This post isn't necessarily directed at you personally.  I often get messages from players in the smaller KON subs who dont understand why I would hit them so unmercifully, why I would target their OPs, target their offense, and knock off their OP caps.  It annoys the hell out of me that I have to keep explaining the concept of war.  This is not a friendly war.  It never has been.  It's probably the most bitter, cutthroat war this server (perhaps any server) has ever seen.  So, why would anyone have an expectation of soft treatment from an enemy of two years?  Every single KON sub is partly responsible for this war.  I realize that KON main made the decision to jump MISC, but you followed them.  You signed on during the early days and weeks and pounded our side when we were severely outnumbered.  And now you expect to be let off the hook just because you're tired?  You should be grateful that it only cost you an OP.  The only reason you're getting off this easy is bc we have bigger fish to fry.  

Also, if you're trying to build up your account (as I suspect you are bc you're capping an OP), the server war is no place for you.  The KON name does not protect you... it makes you a target for some of the best warriors on the server.

Hi abbie, I don't recognize you; are you a new member of FT? Cant say we have ever interacted before. Do you have a problem? I've never had any problems with FT. I'm sure redrick or marty can fill you in there. 


You are right. War is ruthless, but peace treaties are sacred.  I even helped negotiate one with FT a long time ago.  We didn't bother Invicta when they dropped from being your sub.  We also didn't steal their OPs and punish them.  I expected to open a dialog with them and make official any stance they had on the matter. 

You speak awfully like you are a sub of Misc. If that is true. Know wonder why 30x quit, he'd rather not play than be under another's thumb. 


 I was talking with MISC not you abbie. Feel free to comment more if you want to be part of the conversation here. Your choice.  Just don't think you have any bearing on it. You are obviously ego stroking yourself over something that you have nothing to do with.

We have been at war with each other for the past 2 years.  You don’t consider that a FT problem?  I'd say that's the biggest problem you could have with another alliance.

You are right. Your war with Invicta was nothing compared to this war.  Secondly, just because you didn’t “punish” Invicta by taking OPs doesn’t mean you have the right to impose your values on MISC.  In any case, that’s outside the scope of what I’m arguing.  I don’t want to have a discussion about what’s honorable or right or what you did compared to what MISC did.  I don’t care.  My point is only that after the longest, bloodiest war in USA1 history, how could you possibly expect to just walk away like nothing ever happened?  For years you hid behind the KON name and now that it no longer serves you, you think you can just say ‘Oops! I did it again’ and we’re supposed to forget about the past 2 years.  Don’t forget you’re the one asking for peace.  You’re the one surrendering.  You’re the one who wants out.  You don’t have the right to dictate the terms of your exit.  We do.

The terms of war of the surrendering party are the victorious party's privilege. I don't know why people in this game find it so hard to understand.

Grumpy King made a KS member move his main back away from one of their players' outposts
I believe when TUF left the war, MISC made cowboy (and probably other players) move away from some properties
When The Iron Empire warred BlackLions some time ago, we wanted their leader to step down. We peaced, and he did.

These are but 3 examples of scenarios where an alliance that wanted an end to war ceded to the other party's wants/demands. It's not uncommon.

While I don't like seeing active players have their outposts capped (I'd hate you forever if you managed to wrestle mine from my cold, dead hands) technically speaking in the spirit of the game they have every right during war to do whatever they want.

You still miss the point. This thread was about a perceived breach in a peace agreement.  The complexity being that the OP was, in my eyes, never part of the original agreement. Hide behind KoN?  Read up on the history of the server a bit before you talk on long running server politics.  I will always be proud of being part of a KoN that crushed plenty of ruthless massive alliances.  It is quite unfortunate that Misc and KoN had a falling out. 

Don't think it was my decision to leave KoN. I'm not the leader.

Nothing to do with it?  You surrendered to FT yesterday.  That means I have something to do with it.  You're lucky I don't need any OPs. 

ha, I said you could keep talking in the thread if you want. It is an open letter. My primary purpose was for them to publicly give their reasoning and terms of surrender.  I didn't care for us to go back to war just because an addendum was added to the original agreement.   

There you go with your ego again. Back your words and take one of my OPs.  I'm sure Misc will happily help you.
