But your worship-fullness, you perfectly match the description of the almighty god of the Face in the Clouds, is this a test to see how loyal we are?

But your worship-fullness, you perfectly match the description of the almighty god of the Face in the Clouds, is this a test to see how loyal we are?
All us hip cat knights crusaders take our talking cloud voices PRETTY SERIOUSLY and tend to kneel and avert our eyes and what not lest we be found guilty of heresy or blasphemy or hypocrisy or apostasy or otherwise become odious or anathema to the LORD our GOD .... as the "crusades" was a "religious war" as far as politics goes .....
" I say is it getting hot in here OR is there a DRAGON about "??? ....
the rest of the knights just smothered themselves in barbeque sauce and got ready to be well done .... "I prefer my knights medium to rare but I can settle for blackened and broiled ".... The Dragon ....
After the rain and a restless night they headed out again, soon they reached a cabin-like building, it looked indigenous.
"That must be where they are" many said.
They decided a group of them, Sir John, Sir Rey, Sir Maximus, and Sir Pyros, would go in.
When they went inside, the door behind them was closed and locked by some mechanism.
"Sorcery" Sir Pyros breathed.
Just as Sir John was about to retort-.
"Who goes there" said a raspy voice, all to familiar.
"You" Sir John said while turning."I'll have your head"!
"Not...so...fast" he said, he didn't sound like an old man anymore.
He activated a mechanism that shot a wire around him, and Sir John stopped moving.
The old man began to transform.
The new creature had black, feathered wings, and scarce feathers everywhere else, it was humanoid, it's face was normal, besides the feathers, it had black talons on the tips of it's fingers, it had pale skin though, and milky white eyes.
"Oh, I believe my fellow guardians will be pleased with me".
He smiled wickedly.

Noble Leone (US1) said:The knights heard shouts coming from withing the cabin, Sir Donald ran at the door, intending to knock it down, but once he made contact, he was knocked unconscious, the door didn't even bend. The other knights began to shoot arrows at it, one of them even lit a torch to try to prove it down, but the arrows stopped in midair, frozen, held suspended over the ground, and the fire failed to light, suddenly the weather turned fowl, and out of no where, Lightning began to strike the ground around them, unfortunately, their armor was metal, so many of the knights were killed by the lightning.

WE have extra cans of "SPAM" mi lord chimes in one of the surviving knights .....
All of a sudden the wagon began to travel, down a hidden path that lead down the hill, they sat for several days, with nothing to eat, except some cans of SPAM, which they always kept some spares of, finally, the wagon stopped by a cave entrance,
"My feet are killing me from all that walking" the creature said.
Could he have possibly been pulling the cart?
The creature took them into the cave.
"My fellow guardians will be pleased" he said satisfactorily.
"My fellow Guardian!" Shouted their captor, "I bring you the Traveling Knights!"
Suddenly a torch lit up on the opposite side of the room, an then one at a time the flame spread from torch to torch from both sides of the fist, until the entire cave was brightly illuminated. Smaller tunnels were on every side of the cavern, sticking out like the spokes of a wheel, the guardians emerged from the caves, slowly and regally, making there way to the center of the room, the outstretched there magnificently terrifying wings which shimmered purple, green and blue in the dancing torchlight. . . .
I turned to the ones establishing themselves as the leaders.
"I have thwarted these men's plan to capture the sword, and have brought them beforee you my lords, for judgement".
"Are these all of them" the strange creatures said. I could tell this made the captor scared, their body stiffened up.
"No, these are their leaders."
"How many more of them are there" they asked exasperatedly.
"Over 900" it squeaked out.
"Why I ought to bound you up like the rest of your traitorous lot and leave you there to rot"! he said. "GO KILL THEM TENEBRIS" they shouted.
The creature called Tenebris jumped into the air, turned into a black dove, and flew off as fast as he could, bumping into rocks as they flew.
"As for you..." the creature said menacingly.
the whole Wold of martals is thrown to chaos as the armies of the kings of men march to war for the dark pride of usurper kings . It is a dark time for the failing stars of man as the great ragnarok takes it's prizes and the steeds of the Valkyries carry their worthy judged honored dead to the halls of the all father . The tempest boils and churns around me now as it gathers and breaks upon what is left of the original company of traveling knights . My intentions are known to me it is their intentions I wish to understand before I can let them near the glade of the sacred sword also called EXCALIBUR ....
Noble Leone (US1) said:The sword of Excalibur! thought Sir John, excited. Suddenly the Wolf's eyes shot open, as if in responce to Sir John's thought, and he broke through the chains that had once restrained him. The Knights stood in shock as the wolf suddenly leaped into the air, landing with a snarling howl between them and the sword.
not so fast snarls FENRIR as the illusion vanishes to reveal the barren and burning sands ... I said I need to know your intentions BEFORE I will lead you to the glade EXCALIBUR ....
(This is not part of the story) Tenebris already left NobleNoble Leone (US1) said:With the illusion, the winged guardians disappeared as well, leaving the one called Tenebris behind.
