I only did it for revenge, that magistrate took something that was dear to me. But that's in the past, I dont swindle people anymore.

well THAT particular magistrate is a long time friend of mine so I hope this can all be behind us as soon as the guards come too (places empty rum bottles in front of a few choice officers ) ....

The guards spin around, drawing their swords, shouting in anger. "Get back here criminal scum!" the guards give chase, shouting to draw attention, trying to get a pedestrian to try to catch the man, but most by-standers crown on the wall, avoiding the soldiers. The leader turns to the side, trying to summon help from any other patrols. The bells start donging, the signal of the city guard, they would be verging on the ringing bells as soon a vultures on a corpse.

The soldiers scramble into formation, the shouts of reinforcements come from all directions. "Stand out of the way, else we will be forced into violence." *looks over Shiixxan's shoulder, see's that the criminal is escaping and grit's his teeth in frustration*

The clanking of metal armor on stone echoes around them, as soldiers take up sniping positions on the roofs, aiming straight at the three criminals, and guardsmen with swords and spears poor out of the streets, surrounding the trio. The Commander snickers, "One of you is a known criminal, the other two, are now considered liabilities, this is your last chance to stand out of the way, if you surrender your selves, your trial will be quick and fair!"

when the first salvo from a pirate ship anchored in the bay slams into the governors mansion snapping everyone back to sobering reality  "shiver me timbers" growls the embattled barkeep as he redoubles his efforts to hide the rest of the rum  .....

"Tis the brethren of the coast and captian morgans ghost !!" bellows the innkeeper " also the pirates have an army of 700 buccaneers headed up the beach magistrate perhaps now might be a good time to strike yer colors ?" the innkeeper offers the magistrate a "pirates disguise" and a wry smile ....
