1000 cranes makes much more sense now--sad story, yet lovely at same time.
for people that are struggling to finish--I suggest adding another field and/or coop which will greatly improve your chances of getting more cranes, even if you have to store a few low level decorations. Your profits will suffer a bit for a day, but you might get the bigger reward. Don't give up.

the origami cranes task is really tough...it took me 48 hours 2 finish it....
So I can really forget about completing this crane thing? I've only found 435 cranes yet......booooh, it's unfair after all the hard work to complete the 5 tasks before!

I started the cranes late last night, and I'm already over halfway there. Running composter and silo as close to non-stop as possible; and focusing on corn/chickenfeed. I expect to finish the fifth task well within the timeframe. Keep up the hard work!

ugh, I'm still on the pig one. Just after I finished the fourth task I upgraded my apple orchard. Bad timing. Should have built a second pigsty right away. Couldn't make the second pigsty until midnight last night. I've got 18 pig food now, and got some mre to go. Thought this time around I would finally get that decoration worth 64 happiness. Maybe next time...

Don't give up yet! Work your mill to insanity and you will get them. You have one full day left. Yesterday evening I had about 200 to 400 cranes and at this moment I nearly got them all. Need another 50 or so. The mill has given me so many cranes with making full batches of chicken feed!

The pig task is a bad one! My friend ended up skipping the last few with gold and starting on the cranes. I had a headstart on him with the cranes, cause I have one more pigsty, so I could start them this morning.
By now I've collected about 550 cranes, just like Larino said, mostly from the mill making chicken feed. My friend started about 4 hours ago on the cranes, and has about 230 now. (I have to admit he's the luckiest fellow I know with finding things)

The pigs/task 5 took me 12 hours of play with a L4 mill, 6 L1 stys and 6 L2 and 1 L1 fields.

If you are at least level 16, there should be a Mysterious Asia icon near the top of your farm; click on that. Or, if you go to "My village" (button with blue houses), it's in the Village Square there. If your farm is not yet at level 16, you will not see it.

At the top of every forum there is a green "Post New Thread" button for that forum. It's in about the same place on the forum pages as the "Reply to Thread" button at the top of this page is.

Friends,
For those who will be likely to spend gold on the last task. I suggest you spen it about 10mins before the event ends. Last time there was some issues and the deco after the completion was offered for a huge amount of gold.
So if you dont want to spend lots fo gold, the right time is to skip 10-15mins before the event ends.
Also if you harvest multiple fields at once the chance of getting cranes from one or two of them is higher.
You wil get cranes mostly from mill, silo & composter.
So if you have to harvest all at a time. HArvest mill.. wait for few seconds then harvest the fields... Dont club fields with mill. The possibility of getting cranes from field will be less in that case...

Thank you for this spreadsheet, however would you please change the color of the font in the tips column to something other than red?? I'm a little visually impaired and I can't read red on purple.

I ended up spending a bit of gold to speed up production on the pig one. Finally got that one finished around midnight last night. Got 108 cranes before I went to sleep. Woke up this morning and the apple orchard, fields, and pigstys gave me no cranes at all. 4 hours left in the event and have a little over 120 cranes right now -_-. Oh, and I only have 25 gold right now. Let the challenge officially begin!
