depends on the Attack. If you are attaced only on the right wing then yes. All your soldiers are located on the right side. But I would place standard also some of the stones and arrows on the 2 other sides.

I would calculate the defensive strength per side both on Melee- as Rangedforce. And place your attack troops accordingly so the have a higher total strength. Further take into consideration the following rule:
1 side won: -30% strength on the inner Courtyard
2 sides won: 0% strength on the inner courtyard. So you do not gain extra strength.
3 sides won: +30% strength on the inner Courtyard.
So if there are no army on the inner courtyard, I would go for the 2 side attack. Then you do not need so many tools to defeat the defences.

No. Once you choose your server you are stuck with it. You have to start again in another server.

How do you effect an increase in the level of encampment?
Click it, then click the green arrow. If it is grey, you need to be a higher level.
What is equipment?
Equipment provides bonuses to attacking and defending. They provide bonuses to moat, walls, gates, ranged power, melee power, looting, fires caused by looting, attack detection time, and travel costs. I think that is all of it.
Can I close my account?
Yes. Message support or just stop playing on it.

A town house is basically a ruby version of a dwelling. Upgrade your dwelling instead. It should work.

I have a question:
I am currently lvl 20 and have already attacked quite a few players, but a couple of times now, I've attacked a player and got absolutely NO loot after my victory. Yes, I already know about hideouts and ALWAYS remember to visit my targets before attacking them to make sure they do not have any hideouts. I have even checked them after I attacked them to make sure they didn't build any hideouts real quick when they found out I was attacking them and they didn't have any hideouts. Why am I not getting any loot sometimes?

5 each. Would be nice to extend but then big alliances will be impossible to defeat.

So, I used rubies to rent a building slot for a week and have three days left, but since yesterday the building in that slot is not being built.
The slot was great the first couple days, but now its useless.
There's a sand timer on top of the frozen building in the second slot.
Do you know what's up?
