Yes. You can buy them from the traveling merchant, an event that comes very frequently. You can message players to send you what you need.

I've always wondered about this. What does this glow represent? I've seen it on many castles, but I haven't really understood it.

Thank you.

If I remember correctly is that an alchemist potion was used in each one of those buildings.

how can I abandon an outpost and recently when trying to capture one I won the battle however I still do not control it, why is that?

When you are capturing an outpost of another player, you have to wait 24 hours (time can be reduced) before it's fully yours, you can simply "abandon it" by retreating the troops that are stationed during those 24 hours.

You can abandon any outpost under your control under the management (they might have changed the name) options in your outpost, there should be an abandon option there.

They can't use them to attack, only to defend.

An outpost not owned by anyone will be captured instantly and will not require you to wait 24 hours.

Use them as extra defenders for a fellow alliance member or yourself.

Use them for tactics people may think that you can only have normal defenders and under estimate you

In this game there are several servers (worlds) and several kingdoms (some players also call them worlds)

You can see in what server you are by logging out and checking the server in the log-in page, or if this is your game account, your signature will show it too. You are in the AU_1 (Australian 1 server, if I am right)

And if you meant kingdoms, you can see where you are in the "map of the kingdoms", you are in the Great Empire when you start, then you unlock the Everwinter Glacier, the Burning Sands and finally the Fire Peaks, (not counting any other event kingdoms)

I joined a day and a half ago and have been using this http://goodgameempire.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Robber_Baron_Castle as a guide for attacking thus far. I'm now at the second stage of level 6 RB castles, but am unable to produce the recommended troops (I'm level 11). I'm wondering if there exists a more detailed guide or, better yet, a combat simulator?

Also, I am finding my coin accumulation far outstrips that of my resources. Is there anything other than troops that I can spend coins on? I don't want to buy more troops or my food production will go further into the negative and I won't be able to handle it.

Thanks in advance.

Coins are used when moving resources, moving troops or to, for example buy a piece of equipment at the alliance smithy, coin storage is "infinite" and you shouldn't care about having "too much" coins as when you level up, you will require to use a lot of coins everyday to survive, since the cost of troops, movement etc... will be way more. So don't stop getting coins because you think you have "too much". In an emergency or if a player attacks you and wipe your entire army you will need a lot of coins to rebuild your army.

Thanks. I wasn't concerned about having 'too much', more that I may not have been using them optimally.

I will assume by your omission there is no combat simulator or similar. Is the math behind attacks available anywhere?
