its a king tower. it is for giving a bonus aganist attacking or capturing a capital

They are King's Towers.
What they do is increase the attack power for the entire alliance against Capitals and Trade Metropolises. You shouldn't try to capture one otherwise the defending alliance will most likely make your castle(s) burn for a couple of days.

Is it better to put your strongest attack units in the first or last wave of your attack?
It makes little difference the wave where they are sent, but it is slightly better if you send them in the start wave as weak units may survive if the strongest ones cleared mostly/all the soldiers in the first waves.

A royal storage is a special building that can only be built, for example, in a capital, you can get a capital by capturing them, they are located in the world map in every kingdom but they are very difficult to find and only a few of them exists, taking them from another alliance is also very difficult as they are guarded by thousands of troops.

You should keep any troops and rewards from the thorn king yes.

If by assignment you meant quests, then no, building quests can only be completed in the main castle, however loot and attack quests can be sent from the outpost and will count towards the quest if the specific objective is completed.

As far as I know, you can't.

You can be blocked if you break the rules, but sometimes players may get blocked for a few minutes if they stayed online for a lot of time to prevent bots.

When performing a espionage mission, you can change it to a sabotage mission clicking on the little "tab" with a torch in the left, if I remember correctly, when selecting the "% of accuracy in the mission"

You get the horrors from Fire Peaks. I believe they cost 50k glass for 5.
The soldiers that you get from sands are either their renegades, or the two best* defenders in the game:
Flame barer (170 melee defense, 5 ranged defense) and Composite Bowman (159 ranged defense, 8 melee defense)
*They are not versatile, though.

You just get the renegades, so nothing too special about their attack, but they are more versatile than the other two soldiers that you get.
Renegade desert warrior: 111 melee attack, 137 melee defense, 48 ranged defense, 28 looting, 25 travel speed, 4 food.
Renegade desert bowman: 94 ranged attack, 54 melee defense, 126 ranged defense, 28 looting, 25 travel speed, 4 food.
