You should build enough camps so you can hold between 150-200 soldiers, and you should also never stop building drill grounds.

You can't move your OPs with you, so you'll need to find new ones, or just keep the ones you already have.

what's the difference between an outpost and to hold a village? Or am I not understanding it and is it the same?

An out post can only be captured in Green, RV's or resource villages can only be captured in the three kingdoms you unlock (Everwinter Glacier at level 25, Burning sands at level 40 and fire peaks at level 50), however these only give a resource production bonus and can not be built up like an outpost.

does this include for level 1 camp only or level 2 camp? I.E. Build enough level 1 camp to hold 150-200 troops or upgrade them to hold 150-200 troops?

I would just build level 1 camps. Level 2 camps cost more and take longer. Just make enough room.

The order the names are in is random, the only way to get promoted is if a member of that alliance decides to promote you.

You can search your friends name on the world map, make sure you are on the same server, if not then you will not be able to find him/her.
