I think it is set at three because ere are three different kinds of OP's, Food, Wood and Stone.

Go to the King's Market (Bag of rubies at the bottom). At the top click on the third tab (a scroll and is called "other")
The second option on the top line should give you the ability to buy protection.
Minimum protection is for 7 days and costs 5,000 rubies.

I can't see the picture but will guess you saw an ax man, I think it takes 260 pblic order to get him, not sure though.

You can.
Go to the defense settings, then click on the picture of a sword and arrows, then you'll be able to change your ratio of melee to ranged.
If you don't have enough melee/ranged soldiers to cover the flank completely, then some ranged soldiers will get put on the wall to fill up the space that you have.

have many questions about game so please answer by numbers
1. max number of guard houses per town
2. max number of woodcutter/stone quarry/farm per town (not outpost)
3. if want to defend only 2 flanks what is the best 0-50-50 or 50-0-50 and why please.
4. if defender has on left flank 10 defense stones and i attack it with 1 maceman, how many stones are trowed at me
5. and how many are trowed if i attack with 10 maceman?
6. enemy doesn't have army on left and right flank and has 10 maceman on main gate and 10 maceman in town square. i attack him on left and right flank and win(ofcourse), after i enter his town square does 10 maceman from main gate automatic add to 10 maceman from square or i just fight with 10 maceman from square

1. You can have as many guard houses as you want
2. You can have as many of these as you want
3. 50-0-50, you can send allot more attackers on the middle then on a flank, so if it where 0-50-50 then the attacker could send more troops on the middle so it is harder to defend.
4. The defenders don't actually throw the rocks at you, they give a bonus on the wall, for each wave of attack 4 tools are used, no matter how many troops you send.
5. Only four
6. All the troops that are on the wall (as long as they are not killed) will join the troops in the keep, so there will be 20 in the battle at the keep.

where do i find more info on the ice kingdom?

You can't transport resources there with market barrows, go to the map, click on the EW kingdom and the rectangular box will show up. The middle icon will take you there the icon on the right will let you transport resources there and the one on the left will let you send troops there.
