I have given up, i am tired of looking. I do not play in the other kingdoms. I have castles there just for the EX points but trying to explore and grow in there is pointless!

just found one in fire by hitting a fortress

I just "occupied" my first Resource village. I am able to send troops there to defend it but why can't I visit it? I took it over from someone else. Do they still own it? Is that why I can't visit it? I also don't see it on my list when I go to "jump" to another one of my castles. I can't figure out if it is really mine or not.

Well then that's an unwritten piece of rubbish. This is a war game, you can't just refuse to attack villagers "out of respect". I suggest that you get to level 60 if you aren't already, and then take all the villages you can get.

I have seen numerous threads where veteran players are saying that it is taboo to attack their resource villages and here you are saying that is rubbish. You veteran players need to get your act together and decide which is which.

And what about all those large alliances who actually state in their alliance description that if you take one of their resources, they will annihilate you. Unless you are in just as big an alliance and have as many levels as they have, no one is going to be stupid enough to try taking their resources. The only thing that will happen with this kind of bias is that they will scare smaller alliances out of taking their stuff and then will turn around and take stuff from the smaller players. Sounds like a big disadvantage to me.

The "Veteran Players" are really just people who play this game more than 15 minutes a day, and have been doing so for longer than you. Because they have more important things to worry about than constant rv thefts, they warn about the consequenses for rv theives int their alliance descriptions. They don't say you can't take their rvs, they are merely warning you that you may not keep it for long. Players who don't post things like that in their descriptions or on the forums are playing the game the way it is "supposed" to be played. No two people have the same take on this. As to your second point, getting to max level can take less than a year without rubies if you are active. Do that, make some friends, and get your own large alliance so you can compete. I don't mean to be sound rude, or force my opinions on you, but just think about it a little, and most of the time you can figure out why they do the things they do.

the resion why u cant vistit it is because u cant go inside it and look around and u do own it if u stole it of the other person

really? no one is hogging rvs, cept for level 70s, who dont really need there wood/stone rvs anymore, but keep them anyway...
never understood that, just means u have to keep a few troops on 'em...

I've tried looking hundreds of miles away and see nothing but barren land. Can I get a screenshot of what an unoccupied village looks like so I'll at least know when I see one?
I know people have already posted some screenshots but here is a more close up few the credit for the screenshot goes to Raymondmay11, also as your alliance grows your bound to find player that have stopped playing in your alliance so then you can take there RVs and keep them in the alliance

I am seriously disappointed with Everwinter Glacier. While I appreciate that this is a war game and that we are meant to battle one another for Resource Villages, we were also promised that new RVs would be added to the game, at the periphery, in a clockwise rotation. [Per GGE's web page on Everwinter Glacier].

I arrived at he east periphery weeks ago. My castle has now been built up and ready to capture RVs for more than three weeks, yet I have not seen the promised RVs. A few days ago, I surveyed the periphery (moving counter-clockwise) and found five or six new RVs at the midpoint of the North edge. Only five or six? Really, GGE?

I've surveyed the same edges each day since then and can find no new RVs being added. None whatsoever.

Personally, I think this stinks. From my point of view, I'm sorry I took the bait and started Everwinter. It has been a waste of time, resource, and manpower.

Here is the description from GGE's own web page:

When you first arrive at the Everwinter Glacier and look at the map view, it may appear that every RV is occupied and that there are no available ones. That is true, but only temporarily. In the game new RVs are created (or spawned) in methodical fashion along each one of the four edges in clockwise direction. That means at certain point in the game new RVs will appear alongside one edge. They are not all immediately available along the entire side, but will appear in sections. Once new RVs are created alongside and entire edge, new RVs will start appearing in few days alongside whichever edge follows in clockwise direction. For example, if RVs just finished spawning on North edge, East edge will be next in few days, then South, West and back to North again.
You must understand that stealing a RV from another player is very frowned upon, and can bring about a lot of trouble to you and your alliance, if you capture or attack someone’s RV. Don’t do it!

To WilliamReMine
You only saw 5-6, but if you checked again in half an hour, there'd be 10 more, another half an hour and there would be another 10 or so. They usually spawn on the weekends. Just keep looking, you'll get them eventually.

Well the day I build up my loot warehouse at Everwinter I saw lots & lots of food RV's spawning ...I was successful in capturing only 4 RV's within a day...But now can't see much RV's these days seems like they all are been captured. And would spawn after some one other build their loot warehouse..Though I m not sure..

Number of RVs depends on the number of players entering the specific kingdom, that is why, it's hard to get RVs in Burning Sands or Fire Peaks, as only few players enter it. Consider these points:
1) Visit the edges of the map regularly, that's where RVs pop up.
2) Buy Wolfhounds from the Native Village in The Everwinter Glacier.(Fast enough and enough strong to beat farmers)Get atleast 70-80 of them.
3) Get a fast commander
4) Never use tools during RV capture

Whenever you see a RV pop up, send your fastest troops(i.e. Wolfhounds)put 30-35 on left and right flank or more if you can, and your fastest commander. You will have to race for it, as many other big players may occupy it.

If you don't get a RV in that method, try visiting a castle that's burning heavily(every building - burning), no alliance. See if that player have any RVs, occupy it. If he has an alliance and his heavily burning, ask the player's alliance leader if you can occupy his RV or not. Finding ruined players in Everwinter glacier is easy , but is a bit hard in sands and the toughest in fire.

It is a long process, it will take time.
Hope this helps.

I know it is a war game and fighting over rvs is the way GGE made a game.
But how can a lower level player compete for a freshly spawned rv with players who are 10 or more levels higher.
The way they should have the spawned rvs only be visible to a certain level players. So the could compete for them in a fair manner.
