The current Alliance competition is complete waste of time when alliances like Alchemists work the system so as to win everytime
The average . players can't compete when the top alliances pick a player and load them up with defence troops and low level defences and the get a whale to smash the so called enemy with full glory tools , meaning over 1 million glory points per hit
They just work the system and assure themselves the titles and rewards every time
Whilst not against the current rules it is against the spirit of the game , there needs to be a change to the competition to make it a a level playing field or they might as well just not hold this event at all

That's nothing, I've seen one where they put in 20k men, 8 mil glory.

Tbh, I agree. The current system is flawed. However that is not one of these hits you speak of, that's just cranking out a mill+ on a hit

yeah i dont think 8 mill glory is possible in one hit you would be looking at taking out 45k defenders for that i recon

That was a legit hit.
Agreed, but don't hate the player. Hate the game. Popeye knows about it, yet the schedule continues. Not like they stopped the event to rework it. Also, Popeye made it clear that it's not against the rules. Finally, the average players aren't going to win the event anyways. That's the way the game is made. It will always lean towards the stronger alliances with more strong members that bring in points.
Your alliance of 15 members that all have lower PP than our newest members was never going to win the event either way.

I was there, you defended a fkn 50/50 casta with forrest troops on the wall in middle
2 waves of tools on middle/left/right flank with all horsetails following, if you had HALF a clue you would have raked Lesky of his horsetails but you dumped more support into the keep.... You cant help it when people GIVE you glory like that seriously.

Average players are just that...average. Not hating, just saying, there are two ways to excel in this game: heaps of money spent or heaps of time and work. Look at the alliance tournament as a way to work for free tools/troops, etc. be thankful for free stuff from goodgame. Your alliance is currently ranked 64th. I doubt any alliance tourney win was in your future regardless. It only takes a couple of decent hits to come in top 20, which is basically 10k free rupies and 250 sweet, sweet feathers, you can also get top 5 with ease if you spend more time smashing nomads nonstop and less time raging impotently on the forums about free stuff in a browser game.
Sure, it's a bourgeois way to win, but if it wasn't for this practice, there would be tearful posts here instead about small to mid sized alliances being torn apart in the name of the alliance tourney, or of people trying to win it being bullies, etc.Either way, if you're winning anything, someones jelly and hating you for it.
