I assumed these 'Blue Boxes' are compensation to the time its taking to sort out the gem bug.
Even on the external websites no one knows whos winning a why - Just some made up maths if you ask me.
I hope the data has proven no on has even bothered .

Our friends in Berlin are being awfully quiet about the fact that the front gems, loot gems (and courtyard gems too?) are still not working. That will put the cat amongst the pigeons tomorrow when the Foreign Invasion returns (and OH! hasn't it been wonderful to have had a rest from them!)
In fact they are awfully quiet about pretty much everything at the moment. Maybe aliens appeared over Easter and whisked them off to another planet far far away in a distant galaxy

dont use any type of front gems so i take your word for it
loot gems do not work

The blue boxes were indeed the rewards for the event, which is now over. Great job on getting to the Silver milestone though!
Regarding the post from Popeye, are you sure that isn't from the E4K boards? The milestones were different for both games (based on player activity and so on), and the numbers mentioned in those posts are for Empire: Four Kingdoms.

The most worrying thing about this Battle of the Empires not one CM are trying to defend GGE for there part in the biggest fiasco no hard and fast rules everything vague, prizes not delivered , so i ask myself , did GGE bite off more then they could chew.

just shows you just what a state the game is in, no one has a clue what the target is not even GGE employees, and as per normal again issues with players getting the prizes i cant really believe this bug is still happening, you would think this would be a priority, to fix, given the amount of time its obviously costing support to fix. And also the amount of bad feeling its causing.
All in all there is a lot to be proud of for GGE on this event, i think they are finally perfecting the art of messing up, I cant really think how they could improve on making this event any worse. Finally they put all their experience of cock ups into one event and it all came together beautifully.

Don't waste the time Philt, they won't listen but they will change, they will somehow mess up even worse and all of the stuff happening right now will be forgotten.
