i'm guessing its not hard to assess the points lost for each player,

we are all stuck on xxx points and there is a specific time when we got the last points, i assume this time is a global 'set' time,

all hits after that time are recorded, they have to be or how do we get prizes for the sams and now the foreign invaders ?

so each player has their own set amount of points from each separate point event which can be added to the 'stuck' kala event points to give a total,

simples

only time consuming thing is going through each account,

Hey folks,

As you may have noticed, Kala's Contest has been a bit shorter than the other long-term events. This is why we've decided to extend it!

We will extend Kala's Contest until August 3rd, 9:30 AM CEST, so there's plenty of time to keep getting your rewards!

Hello Steve what rewards? Been doing battle after battle but my points stay the same, NO rewards, i am stuck on 1224 points. Have emailed support but no answer, please may someone look into this. Thank you.

Doesn't help those players who have decided that there is no point doing events as there is no points given, I have the cast but want the top 100 gems, there is no guarantee GG will find a way to add lost points, whats more likely is they will just extend the event again and give everyone some crap compo of men and tools, well they can stick it. We have all invested a lot of time and money during this event and GG have some serious compo to give out or I for one will walk away from this game and find another. GG are a disgrace.

well done u extended an event that didnt need extending , i should have the hero but because u screwed up YET AGAIN i havnt , well done gge , your customers have been playing this event for nearly 3 weeks an u go down the pub for the last week end when u cocked the whole thing up , are u going to offer time skips again as compensation ????

I get so feed up with this.... Tryed to start a protest against how GGE treats us customers, but they closed the tread.
I guess trying to get pepole to buy less rubies as a protest was to mutch for them...

But how in the hell are we going to get GGE to take us seriously??? I don't think anyone in the mangament of GGE reads enything of what we write here in this forum anyway. 

So the only way to get the managment to wake up is to reduse their income...

The point of the protest is not to "Blackmail" GGE to give us lots of compensation rewards, but to get them to start taking the craftmanship of software development seriously.. Fixing the bugs in the system, and starting to test the code before they launch it.

Steve your logic around the reasons for extending the Kala event simply dont stack up.  You cant just ignore the fact this event his prizes for the top 250, 100, and winner.  If you just want to make it so the event just gives prizes for reaching set milestones and no additional prizes then just do that.  If you want to make it give additional prizes for top x positions then the rules / duration etc need to be fixed BEFORE the event starts so everyone knows what they are aiming at.  For the reasons I posted about earlier.

You cant just cherry pick which bits of the event you want to consider, the fact you are even trying to justify the decision tells me everything I need to know about your decision, Ie you yet again havent learned a damn thing. 

Dont sit here trying to justify your companies actions as oh we thought we were doing all our players a favour.  As we all know it isnt true.

You are probably sat here thinking oh we cant do right for doing wrong, and our players are never happy.  However all your players are really asking for is

1) If you run an event that has prizes in it for achiving certian things in a certain timescale.  That those prizes are fixed and the event does not change, you know just like every other competition on the planet!!!!
2) If a player wins a prize in an event they recieve that prize as advertised at the end of the event.
3) If there is a technical issue within an event you ensure NO player is penilised becasue of that technical issue, realistically that means manually dealing with every player on an individual basis, OR paying every player every prize available.  As the blanket compensation nonsence still leaves lots of player worse off then they would have been if the error had not occured, and that simply cannot happen however you look at it.

Is that really too much to ask for?  is it really that your customer base is excessivly demanding, is it really that unreasonable to expect the game functions as its supposed to, and players are not penilised when it doesnt ? Is it unreasonable that events are as they are advertised and the goal posts not moved mid event?

I dont think so, I think thats the very very least they should expect.

in that post you saying point freezed Friday afternoon.........i might be wrong but my points did freezed earlier

extending the event

you did had a similar issue with berimond battle times ago,   and what you did there was giving  top100 rewards to top250 and so on

you extending the event now and those who alredy been at top100 risking to lose it, especially if gone in protection mode, holidays, ....family  etc.....  even if they bought any booster/or worked hard to have a gap

what about myself (and similar at my possition)

got stucked at few poinst away from free 18h booster,  nicely ranked near top100
any player at that possition would have managed that booster to get into top100,   considerin Sams were on, FI bigger point...or nomands next door

all this is not ok,  
first
you have a problem and justify it - it was weekend......i dont think gge donates during weekends
second
players that did spend alot  during the given time, to have that ranking, now will have to re-spend again...by changing rules of the race

in the end...myself (and similar at my rank)
18h free booster would have ranked me into top100 for sure if you poinst system didnt failed again

now you can do whatever you like but the race is not a fair play race anylonger....GGE changed rules and looking to grabb more money again

Dont extend events late friday afternoon , this is the second as this happen to berimond also 

Why make events short then change them you have more then enough time to plan it

We to have better things to do on weekend , but most plan to do kala

Just to let you know, I've written up an announcement that should respond to the majority of questions in this thread. You can find it here, and as soon as I have any further information, you'll get it immediately.

@Philt123 (GB1) As mentioned in the announcement, I understand that some of our players that were going for the Top 100 rewards and so on may be inconvenienced by the decision, but the fact stands that many other players would benefit from it. We'll try to avoid this in the future though, and I understand where you're coming from.

Of course, I completely get what you're saying, but it's not as simple as flicking a switch and giving everyone what they would have received during the time that the contest didn't work. If it was, believe me, we'd have done it by now.

Hopefully we can form a resolution that will please everyone, but I'd ask that you remain patient whilst we do so. As I said earlier, I'll let you know as soon as I have more.

On that subject matter too, please don't hesitate to let me know what would be preferable for you guys in terms of a resolution, we're all ears.

Is this the straw to break the camel's back. The latest in a long list of GGE **** ups !! Still no satisfactory solution to the last Storm problem, just a quick band aid for a broken leg. Wonder what they will do this time, same old, same old.
THey refuse to admit they are just incompetent and only interested in sucking up peoples money. THey are living in a fantasy world if the honestly believe they can go on like this. Or have they all got their retirement homes in Spain and bright shiny new cars in the driveway. I hope their cars run better than this game, cos i can imagine their screams it they broke down in their driveways !!!!

The problem occurred after 5pm on a Friday. If we'd been aware prior to this, I assure you that we would've stayed behind to resolve the problem, however, being that it was Friday, most people had prior engagements to attend to, appointments, family etc. It's not a case of knowing/not wanting to do anything, but a case of not being aware/able to do so in a timely manner. You are wrong saying the problem occurred after 5pm on friday it happened around 2pm.
and as for coming together to reach a resolution how can u do this in a fair way as some people like myself were on the 18hr booster all i want is the rewards i earned not a global compensation package.
