@BM ang1243 Are you saying the bug only happened on a few servers but because everyone should have the event GGE decided why not screw everyone else over by deleting for EVERYONE instead of just the servers affected? Or am I reading it wrong?

To the best of my knowledge; the servers that had been affected were just the first servers to become unplayable on, if it had been left to continue then it would have affected all of the servers. Also, it isn't technically possible for an event to be ended on specific servers, only globally.

Angus is a player like you and I - he doesn't work for GGS - he won't have access to the servers or the code or anything.  At least he was around to pass on SOME information to us.  Sure we all want more answers but Angus won't be privy to all the inner workings of the game, or of GGS.

I'm sorry, Osiris, I love your bears and all that but your compass is pointing in entirely the wrong direction.

If you look through the forum you will find numerous examples where mods are accused of being synonymous with a bank's customer service department; that they are representing the 'company' rather than the 'community'. 'Moderators' are the tools of GGS and they exist expressly for the purpose of appealing to the community on behalf of the company... They are GGS's first line of defence and are expected to present excuses for the incompetence of the company in a palatable way to the community. That's it.

And look at the strategy GGS employs... 'Please some of the people most of the time'- does anyone who has played this game for any amount of time need more evidence of that? Rather than striving to satisfy ALL their customers ALL of the time, GGS realised it is more profitable to satisfy SOME of the customers SOME of the time. Consequently, people like MikeShot2 occasionally post a 'Sebastian was a good one' or, 'Steve got me sorted' comment which tends to make the naysayers feel a little petty about posting negative comments....

The fact is, the Moderators are here to defend the indefensible and Ang1243 is absolutely cognizant of that fact.

I have to say too: It's nice to see that Cheza has made her voice heard with regard to this latest issue. I would love to hear the private views of Xecks too.

loool Ang getting the stick ;( guys its GGE and the owners who mug you off. 

Haven't bought any rubies for 10 months so i am not losing a lot compared to other ruby players but it is annoying when it is a reoccurring problem.

Is like they haven't got any brain cells, they messed up alliance tournament and rather than fixing it they went ahead and introduced berri even though there were problems at the start of it such as player alliance not showing up etc 

On a retrospective note this isn't the first time that GGE have got system coding wrong and in my view i see it as being a deliberate attempt to increase profit, the game is made of a system that requires regular update every few weeks however the coding on the system is where the problem lies for example they introduced so many events in the hope of making more profit from players and ignoring the underlying problem of overloading the system, in a plain description think of GGE as a trampoline, the more people use it or the amount of times is being jumped on, the likely the chance of it collapsing

In my view i say keep your money guys and look for something else rather than continue being exploited

My quesstions now is , i had my attack running to get the 52k reward, and i stayed up all night to get there , did my attack still land or not because i surely would like to have the deco , because i don't care much about the set , i already completed it as seen in the screen below :smile:

Seriously GGE, i had my 1k veteran demons in bm and i ws topping in 30-69 category i ahd apll my mantlkets ,dummy pesants,sheild walls and cast iron mantlets.I sat all day and hit wasted 5 lakh rubies over splendors and u just . I wnt everything back .

guyz today i need noamds event becoz FC always sucks and we never get a good target except some does plz GGE we need nomads today plz hope you guyz will understand

and dont forget we need our compensation for berimond event

i need the equip as i was in top 50 and i need it as soon as possible

Many players will agree that we do not need just troops and food as a compensation. Many of us organize our precious time according to event's time period. Many of us prepare the tents etc in order to start hitting next day and focus on last day where get more xp/battle etc. So we lost the opportunity to get the rewards (materials, feathers etc up to deco) and also titles.

The best compensation would be to get xp for beri titles and the individual rewards according to what we got to 1 or 2 LAST berimont events, when the events were FULLY PLAYED!

i dont want troops and tools compo i want the gallantry points i would have earned they affect us long term, cant produce the same quality troops, and we start every beri event now from a much lower starting point, you cant run the event because of tech problems but you still able to TAKE OFF galantry points every day why dont that bit crash

There are various reasons that the berimond event had to be ended early globally:

  • The event had actually caused two servers to close temporarily (the polish and german servers), meaning players couldn’t login at all.

  • Events can only be ended globally, so the event couldn’t have just been ended for the servers affected by the inability to login.


I’d like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the event ending early, and if anyone has any more questions, I’ll have a go at answering them if you post them below. There will also be a more detailed explanation coming later.

Why did we have to end Berimond early?


With the last update we reworked the quest system which was designed to harmonize much better with all of the ingame events. Everything went fine and worked as intended but there was a special case where this optimization couldnt keep up with the Berimond mechanics. In this event you have quests about destroying another faction's tower. Once this was done, each player of a faction should have had this quest completed even if they didn't do it. At this point the server experienced a massively increased data load. The server tried to achieve this for thousands of players at the same time. The problem was only related to the questbook but it caused heavy problems to the server, which itself worked fine. The massive data load forced it to its knees, because a short-term solution couldnt be found at that point and to avoid further frustration and losses it was decided to go for a premature end of Berimond, for the sake of server perfomance. Since this is a global event it is not possible to just end the event on the affected servers. This is why it had to be done globally on all servers unfortunately.

What happens now?

The rankings have been saved for this event and this will be used to come up with an appropriate compensation package for all affected berimond players. The effort to take part in the Battle of Berimond will also be considered. On monday we will have more information for you about this.

Whatever the compensation rewards you will give the players, every time you have these shock-downs, players lose their faith in you and you will just keep losing players-income. 

You can never compensate the time and entertainment your players lose. 

Please fix the bugs, test everything with any possible way and then run it.

As much as a testing environment is not necessarily identical to a production one. I'm quite confident that if they were to properly set-up a testing environment that a team of "testers" would be able to find stuff like this. 
Though, it only seriously affected 2 servers. We'd have to consider what features those 2 servers have that others do not. I know they roll out features differently for servers because I have accounts on 4 different servers. 

Interesting that events can only be started globally, but other features can be added to individual servers whenever they feel like it.

REFUND ALL MONEY SPENT WHILE BERIMOND WAS RUNNING

Say sorry to your customers correctly. Then learn for your mistakes.

- Simply issuing some statement , Conning your players out of what they have earned and STILL taking customers money is absolutely disgraceful

But then again you have been disgraceful as a company for well over a year..
Customer service -Disgraceful
General gameplay - Disgraceful 
Response times - Disgraceful
Communication - Disgraceful.

In fact the only thing you are good at is blaming your customers and taking their money.

We have all been GGE'D once again.


Someone needs to call Guinness book of records - It must be a new record for number of F/ck ups in a single game within a week.

This Information was already supplied on the german Forums, so basically it was already out there before you made your comment. 
I'm assuming in German and on a forum that I've never accessed, right?

The compensation should be given to everyone even if people didnt enter yet as 2 days left anyone could have joined or was planning to so server wide compensation is required

A suggestion for you GGS...(compensations)
I had to do this cuz i know ur lazy workers must haven't thought anything abt it(signs of poor customer service,you know.....)
Plz dnt throw us a 1000 troops with 300k food like the last tym when AT was there....
I wld suggest extend the top 1 reward for the top 5 (when the event ended)
Extend the top 50 to top 100 and top 100 rewards fr top top 200....
Also,give us 500 bm ladders,500 claws and 1k berimond shields at least....And ya,Splendors too....
Give a decent amount of troops to everyone(there were people who didn't enter and cld have entered keeping in mind the duration of the event still left...)
Also,drop a package of a good amount of mantlets and shields...


I hate you for ending that beri, I was going for 95k gallantry and was sure i cld have done that with the amt of bm tools i had....But,nothing cant be done  now.. :'(:'(
