I don't mean to sound rude but while that's great for you, it's not great for the players who wanted to earn the intended equipment.
Those who can play through the event before they announce how they will fix it next week are 99% strong players that will not have a use for 2 weak khala's I'd say and much more use for the 4 gems to make another npc comm.
I disagree.

For the most part, I think it really depends on the player, but most strong players already have enough NPC comms (and enough casts as well).

I've also talked to players (who are indeed strong enough to finish the second round) who consider this castellan better than Kala. My point isn't to argue one way or the other but just to say that every player needs different things—including the strong players—and it isn't fair for GGE to make mistakes like this regardless of whether some players will benefit.

I really hope to get the gems for this castellan since its wearthless when this new type of castellans being incomplete.

I will complete the cast twice , and i would like to have 2 casts not 1.5 cast i am not interested in the other gems. 

the cast may or may not be as good as Khala , that is not my concern . my concern is was i started to play and collect, so i hope the solution is that i complete cast. 

Even if it means GGE give everyone a second cast

Giving everyone a full second cast? I don't think so, but maybe give everyone a second full set of cast gems? Maybe, but important to keep in mind that some players and especially top players in the seasonal event for this month might have already completed the 40 pages or getting close to it and especially by Monday.

Yes i only have a couple of pages left , but i only suggested that what they should do. Because it what they always do , because of the logistics problem , bit like a government hitting the whole population with the money laundering laws instead of going just for the criminal it is the easiest way

eu nao achei nenhuma recompensa diferente pra mim a nao ser pra comprar rubi e ganhar em dobro
isso nao eh motivaçao.

para q os jogadores tênham mais interesse de jogar e gastar com rubis isso nao os motiva 

vamos pensar nos pekenos tbm.

Hey everyone,

The correct Gems will be credited to everyone who earns them at the end of the Ice Championship - you won't have to do anything to get these if you should have earned them - and you will get to keep the incorrect gems which you are credited with from the Trove of the Winter Imp  set.

several side issues
why there was no event with a royal capital soon
the alliance tournament where it is
the personal tournament has also been missing for a long time
the dungeons have become obsolete and are no longer up to date, but they are also missing
so with just 2 events there is no variation (aliens nomads aliens samurai .....)

Good Game Studios is being fair in their judgment on how to fix the problem?  

I guess it IS good that they were bought out!

Seems another issue came up now.  Today nomads showed up and then disappeared. Now there is only 2 events to cover the last 12 days by the nailbiter.  I suspect GGE screwed up again.

Maybe that would help explain why Battle for Berimond was further delayed because of the glitch with the Nomads? I thought it was kind of funny actually and our alliance got a nice decoration for being in top 20 as well.

this was apparently a test event and intended for 1 hr only (see another thread).. there has been no suggestion anywhere that the Khans will not be turning up on the 16th. ps you can easily confirm this in the Events Schedule thread.

Hello

I have completed the tournament twice! on the dutch server ( place 27 ) and the correct gems have NOT been given for the castle guardian!
