The first thing we wanted to establish was what were the technical problems stopping GGS from giving everybody the rewards they had earned. The answer to this was apparently that it would take up too much developer time if they were to check each alliance's points and credit each alliance with the correct prizes. http://prntscr.com/a6vecq
Reblousou then questioned whether Steve and GGS agreed that the problems caused due to the ripple effects of the nomad glitch needed to be acknowledged too, Steve agreed with this, saying, and I quote:
"3) We understand that the problems have escalated over time, and the repurcussions for the Alliances/Players involved. It hasn't been handled the best on our end, but we'll make sure it's done better in the future. "
Throughout all of this we were making very clear that the "Owed" prizes were a separate thing from the "compensation" awards.
We then proposed our idea for how the owed prizes should be given to everyone, our proposition was for every player to have a 72 hour blue gift box in their account with every single nomad activity reward, as this would be an easy and time effective way of making sure everybody gets what they deserve, we also asked for a removal of the time skips limit for the next 4 weeks so that these skips can be used effectively rather than just being wasted when nomads arrive as it looks like they will tomorrow.
Steve responded with this, http://prntscr.com/a6vgcs We proceeded to disagree and give examples of how these problems could be avoided/already have been avoided. i.e. Time skips ignore limits when bought from a ruby pack, and the time limit can be avoided by granting the prizes in a blue gift box.
Steve then stated that they are just using the support team in this issue and not including the developers, so certain methods couldn't be used, we didn't like that answer
The Compensation package we proposed either as a free 12 hour 250% nomad boost and a +200% personal ruby prime for everyone.
We also gave an option to give the owed prizes in their ruby form if that was easiest.
Steve finished by saying he will include all our suggestions in his meeting with the people who can make something actually happen.

We have to take the positive of the meeting in which ; we are all together in taking a stance of whats owed then compensated - Then the repercussions of what is to follow.

compensation proposal was actually both "250% nomad Bonus and a ruby doubler" - for every player!
Mike
Note a proposal - With regards to the boycott - we continue until such times as the equivalents to the above are confirmed.
Sounds fair enough, benefits the ruby players and the non buyersMikeshot2 (GB1) said:ang1243 (GB1) said:Right, time for a summary of what happened in the meeting with Steve:

It should also be said we appreciate Steve took this initiative and his time to brave the "Lions Den", on behalf of the players present I would like to thank him for taking the time to listen - It is a step in the right direction.
Mike
Thanks a bunch to the people that chatted to me today. It was a really great experience, and I'm glad that we could have some direct contact time! You guys were polite, courteous and made some great points, cheers for that!
I should have an announcement to make as a follow up at some point this afternoon. We're still discussing things on our end, but this has been a great help and I hope we can work together like this in the future.
All the best,
Steve.
Good work guys, however it seems to me GGE have zero intention of paying what they owe, and to be frank the time or difficulty in compensating players should never be a consideration, if you mess up and GGE admit they did, and that mess up effects your customers, then you do whatever is necessary to compensate that customer.
In my own working life if we have messed up as a company, and unfortunatly like all companies sometimes we have, we have gone to the extreme of flying goods out on a private jet at huge cost to try and minimise the disruption to the customer, sometimes even as an accountant by trade, cost is secondry to service. And believe me if you move heaven and earth to correct what you have done wrong and your customers see that, despite the fact you messed up, and despite the fact they may have been inconvienienced, despite the fact you may have cost them money, if you are seen to be doing everything in your power to put things right, you may find you come out with a better relationship with your customer than you did before the mistake. As i have mentionedf before its not always about the mistake, its about how you deal with it.
I really hope GGE see this before its too late.
I think it was a positive step and hope more positive steps follow it later to build on it.
Regards
Cheryl
I too see this mornings discussion as a positive step in the right direction (one that will hopefully be taken sooner with future issues) and would like to thank Steve for his input.
I'm sure we all look forward with interest to hear the outcome of the meeting that followed our discussions, and hope for resolution for all.
I am hoping they now communicate with the correct people and allocate the time/resource needed.
They do realise its possible just it would take a and I quote a 'looong time'.
We put everything forward for what was mentioned by all of you. We also stood firm on these views.
They know what we want they just need to implement it in what ever way suits them

The link from the game to the forum has the error... seems it sends you to the German Forum instead. (Nice timing though with the nomad uproar)
You can however access the Forum by searching it on Google or just simply typing out the address. Or have someone who has access to just copy and paste the forum page link to players wanting to gain access.
