I can't say I can't disagree. Nomads just got even more boring. Also, could we have a 24 hour cool-down between events to pull my crap together? One moment it's nomads and the next nomads (actually samurai, but hey).

Shoo! Shoo! Go away, you butt-kissing Troll! :D

Are you still trolling the forums with your baseless Pro-GGE, butt kissing rants? Shoo! Go away, Troll! :D

Hi everyone,

Just an update on this situation. We're still currently analyzing what exactly we can provide you guys with in order to repair the damage done by the Nomads event issues last week.

Apologies that it's taking longer than expected, but I assure you we are still working on this vehemently and I'll keep you posted.

Sorry for the lack of information!

Best regards,

Steve.

Morning All and Hi Steve
Well we're coming  close to a full week of the nomad/buildersyard thingy saga, As the consequences to the mess up are still continuing to escalate for each event that passes us by now without action from gge I'd like to ask you a question Steve, Would it be expecting too much to ask that we get a clear feedback today on exactly what gge are doing about the issues raised and a timeframe in which we can expect action to be taken, This may go some way to alleviating the frustration and the continued entries onto forum chasing you for answers. We've had a few "we might" "we're sorry" from you but still nothing concrete and certainly no effective communication of GGE's intentions on this matter, there comes a point when you giving our feedback to them has to turn into you telling us what the response to that is and 6 days is more than enough time for this. This isn't going to go away by itself by pretending its not an issue there are too many players across the server that have been and are still being effected by the errors on Friday, The kick in the teeth of hearing yesterday that rather than sort out the running issues, today there will be a downtime for yet another event to be introduced really has not helped too improve the mood of players. Would it be too much to hope that gge may use this downtime to put right what they have done wrong during this next downtime?

kind regards
Reblousou -leader of wanderers

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous, 5.5 days of FIs?????? Just useless, no horsetails, no banners, no troops, no point.

3) This is one that's been suggested many times, but something that will most likely not happen. I get that the intention is good, but we really don't want to narrow down feedback like that. For one, it'd cause huge delays, having to contact an outside group every time a decision has to be made. Secondly, it'd remove a lot of the responsibility of our Game Designers, which is pretty unfair since they're professionals who do the best they can in their job. Thirdly, and most importantly, we use the feedback from the forums because of how varied it is. Any player can pop on here and forward their feedback, we don't want to be biased to any single player or group (since players mostly talk on their alliances behalf), but want to collect a range of feedback from all players that post here/submit a ticket to our team. It's also worth mentioning that we're also a data driven company, so we work off of in-game interactions and perceptions of features as well as verbal feedback across all the different languages.

Hi Steve, the above stuff is all obviously a lie, you don't give a s*** about feedback on the forum, you are putting out an update less than 24 hours after you announced it on the forum! All the feedback except for two posts has been 100% negative, so how in the world do you justify these statements?

[4299381] CM Arcanine [None] :: Feb. 18, 2016, 9:52 a.m.
@reblousou (GB1) Absolutely, I'll have a definitive answer as to what's being done today. Sorry that it's taken so long, but I really wanted to make sure the information is concrete before I announce it.

@ang1243(GB1) We do care about your feedback, otherwise I wouldn't be around and working hard to get things forwarded and sorted out for you guys. As I mentioned earlier, the team developing the update, and the Product Managers responsible for reaching a decision on this matter, are completely different teams. Updating does not take the focus away from this problem.

Also; A lot of the feedback has been negative towards the update true, but the majority is about the fact that we're having an update, not about the updates content. We're not just trying to bypass the Nomads issues by updating the game, it's just a scheduled content update that we have to perform, so the team can keep cracking on with future content. We will have an answer today as to what's going to happen regarding the Nomads issues.

There are negative comments about the actual content of the update as well, don't get me wrong, but we'd like to see how the event is actually perceived when it comes around, rather than just scrap it straight out. Emotions are high right now, and the feature itself may not be well perceived because of this.

Overall, please just bear with me here. I'm not trying to argue with you guys, far from it. All I'm saying is give me a chance to get this sorted and I'll have an answer for you today. Your feedback is valuable, your voices are heard, and I am doing my best to make sure that we can reach a resolution that makes you happy.

All the best,

Steve.

[4299419] Mikeshot2 (GB1) [GB1] :: Feb. 18, 2016, 10:22 a.m.
Steve please stop calling it a compensation package, sod the package you are proposing I want the stuff i was owed,  you can keep your freebies, all i want is what i EARNED, and whay you promised me i would get.  its simple nothing to work out.  the prizes i need to be given are there in full colour!!! at the bottom of the screen during the event.  The same prizes that have been there for months.  Whats to work out? you can work how many thousand rubies you are going to give to every player as an appology later first just pay players what they are owed.  before its too late to use the rewards they earned!!!

Totally agree, every hour this continues without players being given what they are owed the loss to players increases, it really is rather simple to work out, Its hit every player and every alliance on the server, these delays seemed laughable when you left us to it on Friday with a last minute apology before the office closed, by Monday with no feedback and no action taken the laughable became the ridiculous and now today even further delays. Sorry Steve my I strive to maintain polite communication as I believe its the most constructive way of dealing with issues, but don't mistake that for calm and accepting I and many others across the server are beyond furious at the way this is being dealt with, that isn't directed at you personally as I realise you are merely representing the company your employed by  but you are the only point of contact we seem to currently have.

Perhaps we should take the gloves off with expecting any form of "given acceptance and or compensation" clearly this is not on the GGE agenda - Consumer Protection rights 2015 - I  quote GGE -   for reference

The Consumer Rights Act defines digital content as ‘data which are produced and supplied in digital form.’

Just like goods, digital content must be:

If digital content does not conform to these criteria, you have the right to a repair or replacement of the digital content you've purchased.

But if that repair or replacement doesn’t fix the situation, you can ask for a price reduction which can be up to 100% of the cost of the digital content.

The retailer will have to compensate you if any device or other digital content you own is damaged as a result of the digital content you've downloaded.

This applies where that damage would not have occurred had ‘reasonable care and skill’ been exercised in the provision of the digital content - even if that content was provided free of charge.  end quote - GGE you should seek legal advise - I am coming after you !

Let hope all feedback about the knock on effects are taken into account.
I have a feeling that all they are working on is the initial mistake. The time its taken to rectify this problem should mean not only are we compensated for the initial mistake but a;; the knock of effects its had too.

Also I am sure I have seen a post that said during the ice championships events are shorter. FI seems to have ran for round 20 days. YAWN.

[4299433] hornby19 (GB1) [GB1] :: Feb. 18, 2016, 10:34 a.m.
6) The event durations are only this short right now because of the Ice Championship, to add some variety to the event. The same goes for the order of events too, if we had them in the exact same order every time, the Championship would be way too easy, and the element of surprise/fun would be removed.
Then why are the FI still so long?

Have not read the whole thread... only the first post! :)

It would be a very bad idea for players to be given advance notice on exactly when maintenance/updates/downtime will happen as many will take advantage of this to launch attacks against helpless players.

Everything else seems good.
Still trying to figure out what the point of the construction yard is.

Didn't mean an exact time, just the same as the forum, but in game

@Mikeshot2 (GB1)

If you're looking for more ammunition Mike consider this:

A few months ago I bought a nomads bonus package, gave me 125% for about 22hrs I think. I bought this 4 hours before the event was due to end. Now me being a sensible consumer assumed that when the event ended my 18hrs would probably carry over to the next nomads event. Otherwise surely I was missold a product? The nomads bonus is not a bonus when nomads aren't on, for the timer to tick on afterwards is not reasonable and for the time to not carry over to another event is not reasonable, the price should clearly be reduced if that is the case as rather than buying 22hrs I would have effectively bought 4hrs.

So the nomads event ended and the timer kept ticking away. I pointed out what I think is a illegality to support and after rejecting what they replied with at least twice, they came around (mainly when I pointed out how little they had to stand on legally with no small print on these offers or in their t&cs about these offers and what happens when the time runs out).

The next nomad event I got my 18hrs that were owed. Now I pointed out that surely they should change the terms and conditions, or small print, or the price of the bonus should reduce as the end of the event nears and the time your are buying is not all applicable (the best solution in my eyes). NONE of these things have been done, we are now maybe 3 months on....how many other players have bought a bonus where the time ran out and they have just accepted this? How many potential legal cases is that.....

See the convo to support:

Much love TPain

PS. (Unsarcastically) Keep up the good work Steve, please keep representing us and our views to GG!

Good Afternoon Steve

Perhaps before you get legal queries, the Head of Customer support can find some time, in what I'm sure is a busy diary, for a phone meeting to discuss the server wide feelings on GB1. You have a range of customers across the full spectrum, from non ruby buyers to some of the largest ruby buyers on the server, on here making the same complaints so perhaps it is time that those voices get an opportunity to pass on our feedback directly and discuss what options are available to redress our complaints and an acceptable timescale for implementation.

I will ensure I am available so if you can pm me with a time we can take it from there.

Regards
Cheryl

I can already tell you what the answer to that will be - a big fat no. Or even better, complete silence. GGE doesn't like to face up to their mistakes, so will ignore us, give each other pats on the backs, and pretend they're doing a great job. If they ever looked in the forums, their feelings will change drastically.

the end result for gge will be people voting with their feet and leaving the game

i stopped playing yesterday and let my troops starve.   with no coins left in the game i might not be able to replace them.  but no need to fear...GGE will sell me some troops at a fantastic bargain price of my first born, my left nut, and an I.O.U.
