Essentially the same input all of us are saying, thing here is between the majority of posters it's the spenders that im seeing posting saying they dont think it's fair and will ruin the game for them long term, even moderate spenders. Wont run from the fact that I put cash into the game, nor will others even if its a bit all over the place, all those little bits add up.
As our illustrious great almighty leader of the great goat clan whom was born on a majestic secret forbidden mountain and ended the famine whilst driving off the flocks of angry bi-sexual humming birds VB put it, you can sheer a sheep once a year but only get to lead it to the slaughter house once. BLEEEET!
These updates are putting moderate spenders in a position where you will slaughter their wallets daily to participate, then ontop of that those that dont put cash in are sidelined.

I am a moderate ruby spender. The one thing I have noted since I stopped on this event (basically straight away). I have WAY too many Ranged troops atm - they stack up quick when there isn't a real event of any value around. LOL

I totally agree of what has been said by players above, bcos I am in such a position now. GGE is getting screwed up. Your are in a mess now. Dont ask for constructive feeback bcos GGE started this game and you have to rectify what players are complaining. This is a reverse quote...."dont' ask what players can do for you but ask what you can do for us players. So get you house in order first then, improve your game to make it more challenging and interresting to play. Dont add extra tools or troops mid-stream of an attack. Thats cheating!! By doing so, you are making players lose good troops and buy rubies just to get ruby tools. Sometimes I wonder as to whether GGE is paying attaention to our complaints or is it the case of "throwing water on a duck's back." Remember gge depends on us players in order to succeed, so pay attention and work on it.

I've got people asking if were boycotting the next berri in GE
Most willign to do the boycotting etc are the ruby whales / week to week ruby buyers who are saying they wont put in either next time due to it forcing them into.

i played it once and that's it
once again gge scruwed up a good tournament and want positive feedback for something that is compleet bagger.
As you can read between the lines what cm arcanine said, they really, really don't care what we think and made beri in this form finally.

I don't know if it's just me, but.....
GGS has brought out a new war game - Legends of Honor
And I can't help wondering if this game, Empire, is so badly messed up there may be no fixing it. In which case Legends of Honor - which looks on the face of it from the introductory videos to be a game exactly as this one once was - is what GGS is now going to focus on whilst gradually winding this game down. Or using it as a benchtest platform for the new game.
I mean, why would you have two war games run by the same company? Surely that is a conflict of interest?
Call me cynical if you like, but I bet I am not the only one to have had these thoughts.

But, then i remember it!...
"Legends of Honor" has nothing to do with Empire..
And, it is not a new game at all!
It was a kind of acquired by GGS now!
I tried to play "Legends of Honor" some time ago but it was a bit boring!.. At least is what i thought by that time!..
Things are quite different.. more slow... (instead of battling castles it is generals vs generals/
No real action like in here!... Things here more clear also..
So "legends of Honor" can not take down Empire...
It was like go back in time.. And games are rather different!.
Enterprises to control their market just do this kind of deals: buy others that can compete with them, to be dominant.

After i quit legends of honor.. i came to empire.. lol
( and that was ´bout one year ago)

Never participated in Berimond event until this week. Don't like it. Lost many units, minimal loot to be had, not worth it. I will avoid this event next go around. Introducing Berimond to the standard event schedule is a mistake IMO. I'm more content with the Foreign invasion, Samurai, and Nomad events as they are and have been in the past few months. Very discouraging for my game in my attempts to recover from losses in Berimond. I've observed less activity this week among alliance members. Just patiently waiting for next event. Glory is rapidly diminishing and perhaps will drop even more if the foreign invaders don't arrive soon. NO BERIMOND, NO MORE!! It's a flop!

Yeah that was the line of thinking that would be most effective. Given between us we probably represent the largest ruby whale alliances on the server, would think it will leave an impression.

Let me start by making it clear that the Berimond Invasion is NOT Berimond. It isn't a replacement event, it's a completely new addition, so don't worry about it being gone!

Based on my conversations with alliances on several servers, a 2nd instance of this new berimond in its original form is likely to receive a far more pointed broad based community response. Sorry

I see the "new Beri (Beri GE)" is slated for 1.9 days from now. Sorry to sound cynical but its "convenient" that it is now a MAJOR CARROT for the new gear - which would make any action to boycott more troublesome. That said, you can only run Beri GE for a few days out of the 33 day festival. The major alliances on the various servers have been notified of this convenient event.
You indicated you would have some form of response by "next week" on the 5th. Given the intention to run the Beri GE in two days (1.9 days to be precise). Where are we at?
I really would like to think GGE is taking our concerns seriously - but the delays are testing us. We have multi server meetings arranged in the next 24 hours - please - give me something I can use or provide them with that is tangible.

Its his weekend off mate.... Besides so many other faults lol at adressing this one. Somethign I see there is a lvl11 CY gem up so people still spending like proper spekals for the gem.
No chance getting the commander / casta form it with regular looting though, just isnt going to happen with the timeframe they have set.
Steve probably ask's, gets told when he will have a response and at that point it stops because he gets the posting he has to do for the latest update.... *repeat cycle*
