HA! alright then, time for Part 8........
The night was unusual calm. Except for the nagging cold, i can see my breath right now, but at least it's above freezing. Hopefully Dynito won't get any rainstorms. The month of March, especially the middle of March is most know to Dynito City as the Rain Season. It lasts from the middle of March all the way to April 20th. That's when Thunder Season begins. Right now there are no clouds in the sky, but you never know. This time i didn't want any rain, it would impair my vision for firing the gun. And that wouldn't not be good. I can't risk miscalculating again. Anyways, i passed the tall trees, and got a glimpse at the Tye mountains; all spectacular in color because of the setting sun. Makes me feel good to be alive. pretty soon, i was so busy staring at the Tye mountains, i hadn't noticed that i had arrived once again at Central Park.
That's when i heard a friendly voice address my name "KATE! Your late as usual!" it was Tearoy. The giant hosted me by my waist into the air, and spun me around, his usual greeting. "Ok, big guy ok! You can put me down now!" i laughed, for once in a long time. Hey, i am in a good mood right now. Tearoy did as he was told, and let me down gently. Ray nodded his head at me, Jason gave me the thumbs up sign, and little Carson smiled; his purple eyes glowing and his multicolored hair waving in the wind. But Leon didn't even acknowledge my presence. He locked eyes with me for a second. They seemed to flicker with something. But i equally matched his stare. I think that flicker i saw was mistrust. Alas, i'm not quite sure on that. "K guys, it's time to play Dark Seek. I explained the rules to Leon already. Now when we get there we'll decide who's it. Let's go!" Tearoy quickly stated before he dashed off down the path that lead to the Dark Forest.
Jason, Ray, and Leon hurled themselves after Tearoy, leaving me and Carson in the dust. "Come on Kate, let's follow!" Carson said determined. With that Carson rushed off after the others, leaving me to bring up the rear. But i didn't mind. I wanted to keep an eye on Carson tonight, for i didn't want to hurt him again. The sound of pounding feet hitting gravel echoed throughout the silent park. the wind, blowing like a cold soothing fan blew through my hair, making it wave in delicate patterns. Caron's hair waved like crazy. Even though it was short, his hair made beautiful motions, all the colors purple, blue, and blond moving at different times; yet still all together like a symphony orchestra. it was just thrilling, and alliterating running down the path to the Dark Forest. I knew that i would finally get my revenge. either that, or the cold was just messing with my body. But still, the feeling for revenge wasn't as strong as before. Maybe it's because i'm too distracted by Leon and his suspicions.
Suddenly, Carson skidded to a halt. By the time i noticed it, my reaction time to stop was too slow. I plowed right into him. BAM! Sprawling to the ground, i found my self right on top of Carson. he looked a little dazed. "Whoops, uh sorry buddy." I apologized, quickly getting up to my feet. Carson just winked at me. "That's ok Kate. I didn't mean to stop so sudden." I looked around. Tearoy, Jason, and Ray were all giggling at my little mistake. Leon just remained silent. "looks like somebody's anxious to get started." Jason winked. i blushed, once again i had mortified myself. "ok, whose going to be it?" Tearoy asked. Jason raised his hand. oh goodie, more delays. Man i hate that.
"Ok, everyone go hide, Jason count to 120." Ray shouted, and he dashed off. Jason turned around and began counting. So going with the flow, i ran off into the Dark Forest. Carson was right behind me. "will you quit following me?!" i hissed, "i don't want to hide with you!" "Calm down Kate. I'm not going to hide with you." Carson sighed, clearly he was annoyed with my attitude. I whirled around, and prepared to slap Carson in the face for back sassing me. But i didn't have time to do that. For that moron, was running over to that big Pine tree with the huge trunk; it looked like he was about to run right into it. What was he doing?!
The next thing that Carson did, was amazing. He jumped toward the pine tree, and while still in the air he kicked off it's trunk towards another pine tree that was about 60 paces across from the one he just kicked off of. Then, Carson kicked out with his foot again on that pine tree, and back across to the other one. And he kept doing this till he was at the top of the first pine tree he kicked off of. "How do you keep doing those crazy stunts?! That was unreal!" i yelled whispered up to him. As usual Carson just gave me his wink, then he jumped from his perch, and on to another pine tree in front of him. Whatever. Your a freak Carson. A really big freak, but a good one. Now that i wasn't distracted by Carson, i could hide. And i knew just the place. The old abandoned bear cave just 130 paces north of me.
Running at full speed, and dodging bushes, shrubs, and tree trunks, i managed to get to the old abandoned bear cave. Just in time too, for Jason yelled "120! here i come guys!" ducking inside the cave, i crouched behind a big stalagmite. That's when things got a little freaky. i looked behind me, just for a second to see if this cave was still abandoned, when i saw angry eyes staring at me! And they weren't bears eyes either. They were beady and green. Those eyes weren't no animals, they were Leons! i started to Open my mouth to whisper "Leon?", but the eyes disappeared as quickly as they came. Ok, i am officially a little scared. and it wasn't because of the dark. It was Leon. Why is he stalking me?
